I don’t smoke weed anymore and haven’t for a long time – don’t really get it...there has only been a few occasions when weed has mellowed me out but thinking back, it was probably more the company and the alcohol I consumed beforehand then the weed. Other than that, it just gives me the giggles and makes me sleepy.
I think that it agrees with some more than others.. |

I have a medical lic. for pot, however I dont smoke it. I get it in food and tea on occasion, but its not so I can just relax. Each person needs to decide for themselves and the government should never be involved.

Sometimes it helps to nail down certain pertinent details before you make a statement...or else some clown will twist it around without the clarifiers. |

In the old days I smoked for the Buzz. Have always been a productive and somewhat creative person. I never noticed weed enhance those things. It might have but I didnt notice cause I was stoned at the time.
I gave it up yrs ago when all it was doing for me was putting me to sleep. Now......I would only consider it for Imsomnia. But B..... It is your decision. Yes we can all tell you yes cause it aint hurt us.....or no it's of devil. But just as I did when I was young, and just as some didn't.... Only YOU can determine what is right for you. Good Luck!! |

B, there's better ways to access more of your stored creativity, trust me... I know you want to increase your creativity, but what is it you're really seeking? I'm sensing there's something more you're seeking to accomplish. perhaps there are other methods of accessing said creativity, assuming it's even there, but if this is a method that might work, why not try it? i dunno. if i die, i'll let you know. oh, and there is more than just the creativity part. let's just call it an experiment. :D Weed won't kill you. :) You may enjoy it, you may not. It may relax you. It may make you paranoid. If may make you more creative. It may just make you sleepy. IF you do decide to try it though, be sure you're in a good mood, it will give you a better high. |

OK, here is my experience. I hope this is the kind of thing you're asking about, B. I smoked pot in the 70s. Why? Because everyone was doing it and I didn't want to be marked out as square (we still used that term then). Plus of course I was as curious as the next person. It didn't do me any harm or any particular good. It certainly didn't make me more creative. Not sure if it made me any friendlier either. I also sold it a couple of times, mainly to save money on it. Found out I'm not a salesperson. This was before the large-scale violent growing rings. But speed freaks were already getting involved as weed sellers, and I became aware that I could never know what I was getting.
One day I was going on a long hike by myself and got stoned first. As time passed I found myself wishing the high would go away so I could enjoy the beautiful surroundings without the glass wall that the high was putting in the way. Being high had turned into something that I didn't enjoy any more. That was the last time I ever used it. |

Just to let you know BeautifulBrava....the speed freaks don't bother with pot these days. The last two times my home was burglarized by confirmed speed freaks....they didn't touch my alcohol or marijuanna. (they only go for pawnable stuff)
Personally, I just do it occasionally these days. Generally hanging out with a friend or two and just talking about life or playin "Dyslexic Scrabble". People progress through stages in life. Drugs are an easily available option for life experience. Some have good highs and continue. So have bad trips then disconnect. The ONLY time drugs become detrimental to anyone is when they WONT'T control themselves and 99% of that is personal will power. |
