Not reducing God to anything, only you do not understand the basic concept of what "person(s)" means. It is not reducing God to a person, "person(s)" is not specifically referring to a human being.

Person(s) once again is a generic form of word, it can be used to refer to animals, characters in a story, or even God. One more time, person(s) is not specifically alone referring to a human being.
