Other cannibalism in the Bible:

http://www.rationalchristianity.net/cannibal.html

Interesting link. But none of those verses were canabolism supporting, for exampe the following verse was used in that site.

Lamentations 4:10

10The hands of the pitiful women have sodden their own children: they were their meat in the destruction of the daughter of my people.

This isn't God or the scriptures supporting cannibolism or telling the people to do it. This is just what happened.

I didn't say it was "supporting" cannibalism.

In your post it says
"Other cannibalism in the Bible"

That is stating that the bible supports cannibalism.

How do you get that impression? If the Bible "supports" everything that any story talks about that happened, then it supports a lot of evil things.

I did not state that the Bible supports cannibalism. I simply sent you to a link that quotes what the Bible states about people eating their own children.

You can interpret that however you like.

Yes, but the scriptures were not supporting the cannibolism. Merely enlightened us with what they were doing, it also talks about God not approving their actions.

Jeanniebean posted these words:

So people who do not want to believe what the Bible says that Jesus said, just sluff it off and call it "symbolism."

Jesus did not say that this was symbolism. He said "For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him."

He did not say symbolism. He said "real food, and real drink."

It sure looks like you claimed that Jesus commanded cannibalism.

Care to deny that?

You just want to antagonize. I merely quoted what THE BIBLE SAID that Jesus said.

He said "real food, and real drink."

Perhaps, but he didn't slit his wrist, nor carve a chunk out of his shoulder..

He broke them a piece of bread and poured them some red wine..

Jesus didn't HAVE to say it was symbolism.

Maybe the bread and wine turned into flesh and blood much like he turned the water into wine.

He is supposed to be God after all.

..so this is speculation, opinion if you will..

Perception.

Exactly.

"This bread is REAL food, this wine is real drink."

The rest is the parable/analogy.

"I'm using real food as a representation to what I mean. Since I don't want you to actually eat ME."

That is not what a zombie is. A zombie again is SOULLESS, has no soul, no soul is inside that vessle called a zombie, it lacks a soul. Don't know many different ways to spell it out to you lol.

Jesus was resurrected from the grave of Hell but first commanded that his followers eat of his Flesh and drink of his blood ....

I generally don't like Zombies movies....but The Rapture would make a good one ...Christians rising from their graves walking around eating non-Christians

Jesus commanded no one to eat of his flesh or drink his blood. What he said was symbolic of him giving his flesh and blood on the cross at Calvery.

commanded, suggested, recommended or gave a coupon ...either way Jesus talked to others about eating of flesh and drinking of blood....

Again, no he didn't.

Ponder the Last Supper. It is replete with symbolic language that can cross times and bring 'enlightenment' to many ages (each age in its measure).

Yeah, got a brand new batch of Jesus' blood just a while ago. You can to, it can be found in local stores.

Luke 22:20

It's call symbolistic.

It's one thing but it REPRESENTS something else in a form of celebration.

Jesus, apparently, is one person "not permitted" to speak in analogies.

Vampires.

Aye from the small focus of the single line it does appear so...

Yet Vampires bite at the neck (or so legend says)and flee from the light and the Empty Cross.

The breaking of the Bread is so they may all share in the lesson... Each having the portion of the Lesson as it was given unto them to understand.

As a result each account differs in a small way...

so we may have the full accounting and an understanding of the Lesson (each of us in our measure).

The thing about symbols is that they have no meaning except for what we give them.

Therefore, they can mean anything we want them to mean.

I just read thru this thread.

In this thread just TODAY alone, you have posted pages upon

pages of nothing but ERRORS !!!!

In fact, Since you have been on this site, most of what you

have posted is NOTHING BUT ERROR!!!!

I am praying God will put a STOP to this false teaching of yours.

I trust God WILL.

You will be held accountable of how you lead people astray on

here with your false teaching, because you refuse to listen to

correction.

I will be praying for you,Cowboy...and ALSO for the people on this

site ,to be PROTECTED from your false teaching.

I am praying the people on here will go to the Word of God for

themselves ,and find out The REAL TRUTH of What God's Word

HAS TO SAY.

After all this time of trying to help you, you

still remain unteachable .

This why tonight I have decided it is best to move on

permanently from any further attempts at trying to help

you,Cowboy.

You will continue to be in my prayers however.

Goodbye now.

I even ask you to give the verses that show the error. And you RARELY do. Yes a few times I was wrong and you SHOWED it to me, and I full heartedly thank you for this. But in this discussin you have done no such thing. Just repeat time after time after time there was error, but had no way to show the error.

SHOW ME THE ERROR IF THERE IS ERROR.

Otherwise your words are mute and in vein because they hold no water.

You yourself have sown the error in a post...

You claim that Jesus gave Moses the Commandments.

For one to be able to see Jesus within the Torah (other than as a prophesied Advent) one must first turn the eyes to the returning path and then create paradox where none exists.

If all of mankind were to follow this path it would swing backwards and forwards to eternity in the Bubble of Adam...(one big circle).

for Male and Female he created them...

and Male has ascended to heaven.

Therefore the Cycle of Adam ends in Glory and the Cycle of Eve brings balance to mankind (and comes on the winds with the fragrance of the Lote Tree and the Beauty of the Maid).

If you follow Jesus where he was not...

You may miss where he is.

Why would it cycle back? Why would it not infinitly keep going straight?

14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

1. MorningSong: You keep saying you're trying to prove him wrong. About what? And how, if you are right, can you not provide the necessary "proof" he seeks? What is it/has it been that he is so "blatantly" wrong about?

2. Adventure: Seriously, where do you get this stuff? Don't be trying to pass me the whole "God's Special Brew" neither.

3. Cowboy: You speak of Jesus using parables, but in reality, the entire Bible is almost consistent and filled with them.

When Jesus speaks of his Father, what else would you have him call him?

Your defense is, "Why would he cry out to him Why forsake me blah blah", yet the very time frame you speak of doesn't match your defense.

Jesus was "separated" from the Tri-une when he walked amongst man, correct?

That's why he would call out to His Father.
Briefly separated is not the same as individuals.

Originally: Jesus was the "WORD"; he was then at that time "ONE" with his Father.

Your defense is from the points in time when they were "separated".

Secondly:

"Ye are Gods"

Because we have the ability known as "Free-will".
That's the epitome of a "God".

To do what you want, when you want, how you want.

--------------------------------
Nope.

Some comes from the Dayspring of Divine Guidance.

Some comes from the Hidden Words (I am awed by its brilliance).

Still more comes from the Book of Certitude.

I have walked in the Four Valleys and seen the Seven Cities.

What I write is but a pale flicker compared to the Glory of God.

Some of it is for me.

All of it is for those that understand (having taken much the same journey).

If but a small portion creates in you a seeking for further knowledge...

Every line was worth it (no matter how insane it might sound to some).
