since your question was directed to klc and not me I will post separately rather than quoting. to tolerate something is where you don't fight it - or can coexist but may not want it directly in your life - accepting something means you'd be willing to have that in your life

it's like a level above tolerate so to speak

at least this is my view

and once again, google dictionary is your freind

google dictionary does not include "Love" into it's definition of tolerance as in a relationship....the OP did

or when it comes to love does acceptance and tolerance become one

it includes the difference between acceptance and tolerance which was YOUR original issue

I have noticed your penchant for sidestepping....it really isn't very productive in my opinion

actually if you read my first post it included "love" just like the OP ....giving definitions of what tolerance is or what acceptance is would be "side-stepping" when love is not included into the equation

if you in love with a woman that occasionly have a habit of farting...do you accept the smell or do you tolerate it

if you are in love with someone that hits you and you do nothing about it...are you accepting that he beats you or are you tolerating him beating you

and this is how people get into and stay in a bad relationship ....because they replace tolerance with acceptance in matters of Love

Love is unconditional. At the moment I heard of this remark, i felt it was very true. Nobody is perfect, you have to find the valuable part of the woman, then accept everything what she has, vice versa.

love is possible, and sometimes quite necessary...

FROM A DISTANCE.....

Sure I can...as long as he tolerates me randomly punching him in the gonads for being such a condescending, chauvinistic, intolerant d**chebag. Not a problem!
