I did but for the wrong person and it was a bad blow cos she has never even had a slightes thought about me.wat i saw that made me open up to her was not ment for me but for mx brother.and i now live every day with it cos they are married and i get to see her now and then which hurts more.......bad u say

There is nothing to lose in telling someone you care. Unless you are expecting something in return. Give freely. I'm calling self-righteous bull on this one. Sounds good on paper, but just quite doesn't work out. It was 100% sincere and I practice it myself. Its called detachment and free love.' Free love is when you love someone and don't expect anything in return. It's not hard really. If you give anything and expect something in return... then it is NOT GIVING. It just seems like an infinite loop. You can only give so much. Unrequited love is just foolish. UNREQUITED? WIKI: "Unrequited love is love that is not openly reciprocated or understood as such, even though reciprocation is usually deeply desired." That is not "free love" when you expect to be loved in return or if you expect anything else for it. If you think you can only give "so much" love, then you have no idea what love really is. Love is unlimited. If you let love flow, there is an infinite amount of it. there is no such thing as love of any kind with detachment interpersonal detachment is actually a symptom of possible mental illness or personality disorder and/or cause to be referred for treatment or evaluation for treatment emotional interpersonal detachment is a commonality shared by violent offenders and sex offenders That is bull crap. By detachment, I mean that you can love a person without getting all involved with their personal business and life and accept that they are responsible for their own decisions. Just because you love someone that does not mean that you have to take on all their problems or get sucked into their dramas. You can respect them enough to let them live their life. That is what I mean by detachment. Of course if you want to spend your life living the dramas of every person you care about and getting involved in their daily lives, business, and petty problems..., well, good luck with that.

It is love with strings attached. It is: "I love you so you should love me back." That's immature.

It is a very liberating feeling to give FREELY without expecting something in return. It is an unselfish act. (Of course you have to actually truly feel real divine unconditional love in order to do that. That is probably pretty rare.) If it ever happens to you, you will know what I'm talking about. I'm not trying to be "self righteous." It is when you want nothing but happiness or the best for a person without needing or wanting something for yourself, or something from them in return. To me, that is real love.
