espn just reported a different indictment on vick. they weren't specific on why but it is thought to be either new charges or one of the other defendents gave something up.

Damnit you saw that too!

But I would lay my life down for animal. I volunteer at the animal shelter and see abused and neglected animals come in and after a few weeks of TLC they are vibrant and forgiving, unlike the human owner that put it there in the first place. And I'm not part of PETA either, they are just a scam.

There is nothing wrong with loving animals I have a german shepard. Now u see abused animals now compare that to watching some poor iraqi kid die in the streets because someone wanted to be a martyr.I am just saying there are better causes and news than some asshole fighting pits, oh and he will get off cause he's rich

Mike Vick will be cut by the Falcons just prior to Sept 5. If he is on the roster then, they have to pay him 10+ million. If they cut him before then, they can save 12+million over the next two years, even with the big cap hits they will have to take. Money talks. He is gone for this season anyhow, and possibly next, so, they will save the 12 million bucks and dump him...Logical, no?

logical to me but as good a talent as he is i've never seen him as a NFL qb so i wouldn't have given him the money in the first place.

soldier i DO support your cause and the war in Iraq. I am NOT cheering on Vicks. I have NEVER liked the jerk. On OR off the field. I dont care if he is rich or not, this time money is showing he is NOT above the law. I hope they throw the book at Vicks. He should rot UNDER the jailhouse for this.

"This time money is showing he is NOT above the law".

Let's not count our chickens before they're hatched.

Being charged with a crime and being indicted is a LONG way away from being convicted.

Personally, I think he's guilty as sin. Even if he "didn't know" what was going on at his property, it WAS his property, and he should have known. As they say, ignorance is no excuse.

Prediction: Vick walks. Maybe a fine, maybe a bit of "community service". But no jail time. The rich look after each other in this country.

I don't think he will walk, theres too much of an "outcry" over it. Also it will make the NFL look bad if he gets off with a slap on the wrist. The ASPCA who are investigating it have a good track record with putting people in jail for animal crimes as well.

even if he's not found guilty in a court of law(which i don't see happening)he's still going to be suspended from the league for at least one season.

Hell the NFL already looks bad withou or without Vick. Vick isnt going anywhere he is the Falcons now come on can you honestly say the falcons would be anywhere right now without him.And lets say he didnt know what was going on,You cant hold him accountable for that. That is like a meth dealer cooking in a rented house why should the land lord be held accountable?

Several states-don't know if Virginia is one of them-have laws holding property owners responsible for what renters do. As I said earlier, a homeowner SHOULD know what's going on on their property.
