I've met some dudes on here, and many ladies from here.. ALL..were that SAME person in person, face to face.. As they talked and acted on here... SO,,as I felt them a REAL friend FIRST HERE in just their words,, I followed that up to really meet them and KNOW,,they were REAL FRIENDS to me in life,,not just an Internet friendship... THAT was very reassuring to make those all happen...

Mingle people are my best friends and my family. And yes, I talk to alot of people offline as well via the telephone, or visits. I would be lost without my Mingle peeps.

Mingle people are my best friends and my family. And yes, I talk to alot of people offline as well via the telephone, or visits. I would be lost without my Mingle peeps. Do you think you can get to know people well by talking in the forums? Are there people in the forums that you've never talked to outside of the forums that you feel you know? Or, do you feel contact outside of the forums is needed to establish friendship? I dont speak intimately with anyone outside the forum, I have done so in other venues and gotten to know people very well, but you have to be observant and pay attention and communicate with them over a period of time and a diversity of situaitons , in my opinion

I really look for consistency. People who are being themselves in the forums have a consistency to their responses. Then, their personalities come through. I enjoy getting to know people in the forums, and emailing a few for more personal connections. For me, meeting in person is the litmus test. I trust my gut. I've met a couple people who had one persona online, and were different in person. I always wonder why people lie- it takes so much energy! Being yourself it's easier.

I consider everyone here part of my family, unless they give me a reason not to. Mingle is the first real family ive ever had. Between them, and God, I now have a family, and a father. And I feel I know them pretty good, since ive been here a long time, and my friendships do continue outside of Mingle with some of the people here. Im always there for them, and their always there for me!

I haven't really been on here long enough to say that I 'know' anyone but there's a few that I like, that have reached out with a friendly email and whose opinions/comments I share. One of my favorite things is finding like minded peeps. I do love other perspectives, but there is a comraderie that validates and comforts. Very much agree with this.

I know who you are and I saw what you did. You promised you wouldn't tell!!!! there sure are a lot of people around here with a guilty conscious
