Ever not been able to keep a secret....,were you Sorry or Glad you told someone?????

I've worked for the Government for many, many years. Secrets are part of my life......But I wonder if you are talking about gossip rather that secrets???

I am better at keeping other people's secrets than I am my own.

With my own stuff, it's up to me to decide what I feel comfortable disclosing to other people.

With other people's stuff, they've decided to share something (often personal in nature) with me and I take that trust and responsibility very seriously.

I know a LOT of secrets.
Very safe :-)

My rule is to tell people first that I will not keep a secret if I believe it will cause harm to anyone, including themselves. Beyond that, I'm perfectly capable of keeping secrets, and I keep them forever or until they are no longer secrets.

I take people at their word; if they tell me they want me to keep a secret, then I do. I just pretend their secret doesn't matter, that it is not important, a useless piece of information because I can do nothing with it, and it becomes super easy to keep it.

Once it becomes public knowledge, though, I spill.

I have no problem keeping other people's secrets. But, I have no personal secrets. Sometimes this is to my own detriment.

Pretty good at keeping secrets...I prefer listening to talking and I love hearing about peoples' lives and how they live them. Our little quirks, it fun knowing about that stuff.

Have always kept secrets and will take them to my grave. Working for the military; you do learn to keep secrets.

I think you are talking about gossip. Secrets, yes I've kept many. Gossip, only every now and then.

Yes you do. I had NATO secret and US secret status for about 15 years (military plus civilian job requirements).
