Aw, it is really beautiful out now. I know the sun is going to heat things up. My mom got dsl. Well, actually my younger brother got it and he was asking me questions about routers. He is going to route it over to my mom's computer. Mom said it was ok as long as he keeps the wires hidden like he did with the sound system going to all the radios. My younger brother is still clean and I was glad to hear it. He started college and is as excited about it as I was. Had a great visit with my younger brother who is as old as my son. Mom sure did have kids late in life and with nine of us she sure has had her hands full. I hope it stays cool like this. Got the car finally cleaned out some. It has just been so hot to do anything hardly outside. Sure is nice to have a break from the heat.

i understand about having a brother the age of ur son. i have an aunt that is 19 now, but it was weird when i was 20 saying i had a 2 month old aunt.

My grandmother had 15 and I am 4 years older than one of my uncles. Our tree isn't forked but it sure is screwed. I potty trained 3 of my sisters and three of my brothers. It took four lines to hang out all the diapers. My second to the oldest sister and me used to argue about who was babysitting who. She is still fond of my ex and my ex is still fond of her. No accounting for taste I guess. I am just glad I have my own place. It is always nice to return to.

Correction: My tree is forked it just isn't spooned. Hmmm, I think I will quit while I am ahead. It is my day off. I don't always have to make sense.

at least your dad isn't your brother, and your son your grandpa, and all that fun stuff

I hear ya. My life is already screwed up enough as it is. Thank God for small favors. Man it sure was nice to get the pillowtop mattress for my bed. I had an ideal that it would make a difference but wow I actually didn't know how much. I slept like a baby. That does it I am getting the giant pillow that Walmart has. I didn't think the two small dogs I had could jump up that high since I have two mattresses and the box springs. The heighth actually made me even with the window fan so it helped in more ways than one.

No posts in two days ... hmmm ... Well, I have some good news! I've been sending Email back and forth w/ someone on here, we started chatting on the phone and we are going to try and finally get together tomorrow! I'll have to let y'all know how it goes

Hey Everyone, Hope your Labor Day was great! Let me tell you about mine .... I finally met one of the members from here today ... We started off w/ breakfast, went to a Labor Day parade w/ my sister, neice and her Bf and great neice .... Came back to my sisters for a cook out and started to watch the Zodiac ( sidenote on the movie: It's BORING!! ) He was a perfect gentleman ... It was nice to finally meet after sending Email back and forth followed by phone calls ... All in all, it was a good day ... Wether there is another date ... who knows ... I'm playing it by ear ...

In between where I live and the next town there is a big copperhead gathering. This is the third year in a row. The last two years there have been 150 to 200 copperhead snakes that meet in this one area on this mountain on this old man property. The last two years it was in July that the snakes converged for no known reason. The University of Arkansas has had student to study the snakes and to figure out why they come there. This year the snakes have came a month later. It is thought they were late because of the heat. It is like this story right out of the X Files the way the radio has been portraying it.
