Common answers include the obvious like trust, commitment, respect, dedication, and communication, but what does all this really mean?... I think it means this... Being able to emotionally separate from blood relatives (immediate family)...In other words, cleave "only" to each other.... Maintain individual autonomy... Manage crisis as a "team"... Respect each other's individuality... Maintaining a healthy sexual relationship... Reality based expectations of the relationship... A good sense of humor... A desire to nurture each other....   I agree with everything especially the bolded part. I think a lot of those could said with having a strong friendship too, but it hopefully grows to be more. (((Audrey)))....

Wanna know what makes a relationship work? It's when you decide that you simply want to be with a person. I get so tired of how people want to break down all these different values that have to be there. Of course they do. Stuff like communication, trust, respect, blah, blah, blah. Guess what? It phucking has to be there. But what it boils down to is your own desire to be with a person. If you want him/her, then freaking bust a nut and do it. I say this cause, when a relationship goes bad, what starts it all is one person's desire to not be there. That happens, all the respect, communicatiion, love, honesty, etc.....it falls by the wayside. This has been a message from Goof and I'm gone peeps. Yo!
