Bottom line Israel has the responsibility to protect her citizens from annihilation. Iranians have been found with blood and grenades so there is little doubt about who is responsible. Israel always protects her people and has every right to meet her responsibilities. Those like Iran and proxies such as Hamas and Hezbollah will find that threats are taken seriously and appropriate actions will be taken by those they threaten like the U.S. and Israel. Propaganda is interesting. While the picture is sobering... I allready knew this. I mentioned it many months ago. However the Article is a Propaganda piece without doubt. It immediately jumps into high emotional content words. Describing a standard fleet in movement through the straigts. with the words 'Massive fleet'. Yet mentioning not. That Iran had recently conducted (not a movement through) a Combat Manuever Drill. Who then was actually rattling the saber. The fleet was scheduled to go through long before it moved. The Iranians however announced their Combat drill... but hours before the action (as thought hoping for an immediate response). or have I missed something. They also attempted to provoke a carrier, destroyer and a US Coast Guard cutter. Not according to the Navy. Navy's do that on a regular basis. Its called shadowing. It says 'I can go here too because I have teeth' While the US Navy also said the same. To countries dancing in the Nation arena. Much like football. If we go to the Yellow Sea. We dance about the Chinese doing the same thing. and I figured out why that map-picture looked so wrong. Iran is a much larger country than depicted by the scew of the map. and the US bases that show on it. Are mostly involved in things that do not actually THREATEN iran. Just the idiots that keep killing people with bombs. Do you know how many women died in Afganistan. Phastun Women. For hate and bigotry. Allah knows. But generally the Treaties and Laws of the Seas are adhered to! And since the Closing of the Straights is about the only thing Iran could actually do,but would be in fact backfire on them. They get more Mileage out of the Threat,than they'd get out of the doing! |

No biggie. "We" never kept "our" treaties with the native Americans either.
In fact the history of America what with slavery and how the Indians were treated, is not very flattering. So much so that there is talk of rewriting history. I love the expression "US Regime" vis-a-vis the theocratic oppressive Regime of Iran.
I do too. If it walks, talks, and acts like a regime, it is one.  (btw, if you look into the Iranian regime, you'll find it's less oppressive than the US regime-not to excuse either one)
