I'm extremely shy and have semi low self confidence when it comes to my looks any pointers on how I could have more success with the ladies?

Sounds like you should work on resolving those issues before even thinking about the ladies.

Talking to them online can help build you up to be able to talk to them better in real life.

As for your looks, just make the best out of what you have got, and try to learn to be happy with it. A new hair cut and some stylish clothes can give you a good lift.

This is true as long as you don't use the anonymity of the internet to reinvent yourself. Just be true to who you are and you will be liked for yourself.

Would also suggest that you post/contribute more on the forums as this may help you build confidence.

Walk up behind then gently brush her hair aside
and softly place a kiss on her neck, give her
a smack on the a$$ and walk away. Glance back
once if she looks at you and smiles you're in.

If she looks at you any other way, run.

When I was a teenager my dad told me a quote that I'll never forget.

"You wouldn't worry so much about what people think of you if you realized how seldom they do."

I don't know if that will help you or not. But, it has always stuck with me.

..it appears the only issues you have are those you have made for yourself ..so stop it ..spock

..sometimes i think we get our perception of ourselves through others eyes, how they talk to us,how they treat us,maybe it's the

fact that we want people to love us,truth is most people suck, they could care less about how they make anothers feel, but sometimes it leaves a lasting effect until we ourselves start to believe that we're not all that and a bag o' chips

..truth is we're all bags of chips some potato, some cheetos and some doritos .you just need to find that bag o' chips that makes you feel good about yourself and that you belong...

..tell me if this makes any sense to you ..cause i have no idea what the fk i'm talking about...

My sister said this the other day.

But as a shy gal, confidence isn't something your born with. Takes time to build when others take advantage of it. I prefer to keep doing what I'm doing. In high school I was a mute. I actually made it through the entire experience without uttering more than a sentence or two. Plus I had a really bad stammering problem which led me to be labeled as socially awkward. The more I realized how stupid it was to care so much about what others thought, the more I came out of my shell. I'm still doing it, a work-in-progress I guess. The best outlet for me is definitely through art. I think everything else just falls into place. There's no reason to be so scared. Other people have their insecurities too; they hide it well.

start by going out on a date after dawn... the light from the moon or the street lamps would make The Elephant man look like a rock star...

and take the date to a good movie....don't take her to a movie that would cause her to toss up her cookies and not to a chick flick because that might cause you to toss up your cookies...

also the movie theater will be dimly and you will not have to worry about having a conversation in there, because if you talk during the movies you might get hit with popcorn by someone trying to hear the movie

if you decide to go eat dinner after the movie go to a dimly lit romantic place and you can talk about the movie and gradually include things about yourself in which she may include tidbits about herself
