she misunderstood something I said, and was very hurt, when she told me, I was shocked that she thought I could be so insensitive, we talked and worked it out, now I have to deal with the fact that I really love this woman.....help?

I agree with Zanne. These kinds of things happen in relationships, especially new ones. As time goes by there might less of them cuz you both understand each other more. Hence less hurt and missunderstanding? Did I just repeat myself?? Oh well, I say dive in. Love only comes around a few times for lucky people. Take it and run and see where you end up. Better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.....

Falling in LOVE is a beautiful thing...be happ..it's not always so easy for many...consider urself fortunate...

I think I have done the same thing myself intentionally or not.It's great you got it worked out but the main thing is making sure it doesn't happen again.Things can get fragile in a hurry.For me the cause is I let my feeling get in front of my thoughts and things come out wrong.Having realized this now I put my feelings on the back-burner and don't let them get in the way of my thoughts.You know when those feelings are strong.I think everyone has the same feelings at certain times they just interpret them differently and let them get into or in front of the words and things get misunderstood.Not sure this applies but hope it helps anyway.L8tr

Congrats for finally falling in love...just remember you have a lifetime to spend with this person, so don't feel like you have to rush into anything!
I hate to feel like I am repeating myself, but, communication is a must!! IF she would have told you that you hurt her feelings, then maybe none of this would have happened. You need to let her know that she can always talk to you about anything.
