Topic: how do you meet a girl without the bar

I used to work at a bar, and meeting a girl wasnt a prob. if you live in the milwaukee area you know thats kinda what we do around here. anyway I was drinking too much, so I quit the bar and I dont really drink anymore. where does one find a girl around here?

I'm in the same predicament....quit the bar scene and have no idea where to go to meet new people without going to a bar.

You can go to a bar and not drink alcohol ya know. They won't kick you out and nobody is going to look at you funny. And it can be a lot of fun. Other than that, go and do things you like. You can meet people anywhere, libraries, bowling alleys, ball games, pet shops, plays, concerts, race tracks. Find something you are interested in doing and go out and do it. Don't be afraid to go somewhere alone, and don't be afraid to talk to people.

You can go and not drink, but its not fun. Its kinda sad to see how drunk people really get, plus " that girl" is kinda what got me into this mess in the first place. but the other advise is great. Thanks!

Church. Or you can check out stuff going on around you in the community connection (or something like that) in the newspaper. IDK, I gave up on trying to meet sober normal people a long time ago

As sick as it is, they are finding them at work. Other than that, there's a major attitude problem virtually everywhere I go. This is an attitude wasteland.

That's true.I do a lot of stuff on my own an it can be lonely @ times. But once in awhile u never know
