THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE? REAL OR FALLACY? Could someone elucidiate hw ships could just dissapear in an ocean wherever it gets to a particular spot. Called the BERMUDATRIANGLE? Some say that is where the devil resides, i find it ridiculous, plzz shed more light.

Violent, unpredictable storms.
Sunken.

The area beneath the Bermuda Triangle has one of the oddest currents, which when something actually sinks there, it makes it hard to determine a solid location for it, because it moves constantly.

I don't believe they 'disappeared' I believe they just sunk and since we can't dive to ridiculous depths yet; they're just down there.. somewhere.

The planes that disappeared is just a result of the pilot getting himself utterly lost and the planes ultimately crashed somewhere out at sea; but they had no clue where to truly search.

Now what I can't explain is how the ships actually sunk.

In other honest aspects, which you can delve into at your own leisure is that the Bermuda Triangle hasn't a great proportion of disappearances of planes and ships than any other part of the ocean.

Tropical storms are frequent in the Triangle.

Some of the 'disappearances' never actually occurred.

The overall legend of the triangle was manufactured by writers who held faulty concepts.

Final note.

The United States Coast Guard records confirm that the number of disappearances compared to he number of planes and ships that cross the triangle is indeed insignificant.

The origin, I believe, began when those fighter pilots disappeared. The lead pilot was recorded as saying, 'We are entering white water and nothing seems right. We on't know where we are the water is green no white."

..or something along that lines.

Regardless, that sprouted the whole alien abduction and the pilots were suddenly 'Flying on Mars'. However, we would now be able to safely deduct that this couldn't possibly be true because the transmission wouldn't have taken place.

It was and is a heavy traveled shipping lane.

There are no more missing ships there and than any other heavily traveled shipping lanes throughout the world.

The surface velocity of the gulf stream water is 5.6/mph.

That means a plane going into the water could conceivably have moved as much as 5 miles from where it went into the water.

This is the best explanation for why wrecks at a known sinking location are not directly on the bottom where they went down.

The ocean is really big. Its really hard to find stuff that sinks.

The Triangle problems are real as I sailed through there with the Navy. It was like going through a door, got in the middle of a storm, lost our compass, electricity, and then all was calm as we exited. Strangest thing I have ever seen. Although much as been explained away as there is large metal deposits in the rocks which would throw off a compass. Currents drag ships for miles from where they originally go down so they seem to disappear. There have been underwater volcanoes and water spouts that could indeed knock out a low flying plane or pull down a small boat. I don't believe in the Devil explanation.

It surprises me we think otherwise. I guess it makes sense if you have never been out on the ocean for extended periods.

If you find a Buffalo Bills Cap out that thar area around the triangle its probably mine.

There are Magnetic Anomalies there!
But I never saw anything extraordinary, and I have lived in the middle of it for 36 years.bigsmile
Thunderstorms and Waterspouts are something else though!
For a small Craft to encounter any of those they'd have to be extremely lucky to come out of it!

This is interesting because I read a naval explanation of this and their official line is that nothing out of the ordinary occurs in the region and they refuse to even call it the Bermuda triangle.

I am only basing this on my actual experience of sailing there. I don't think its anything supernatural as I am sure everything can be explained away; however when we were there; it shook us up a bit. We have another area called the Great Lakes Triangle which follows alot of what is going on the Bermuda Triangle.

I would suspect it should have but I don't know if it ever was. We lost gear overboard but we were able to recover it so as there was no loss or damage; it was probably kept low key. I know of a few things that happened in the military that were never reported so this may have been one of them.

Worm holes.

Also, when air bubbles come up from the ocean floor an entire ship can simply sink strait to the bottom. I saw this demonstrated in a tank. Really scary.

That's where I took a cruise too. scared

happy happy My Dad introduced me through conversation, magazines and books: to the Bermuda Triangle! We enjoyed wondering if that could've been the place where the Atlantida was located!
And/or a phenomenal vortex....yeah, they are pretty amazing! You may experience, a vortex in Sedona. Arizona. Its on the road to the private airport. This one I'm referring to its a small vortex.
