Dear Diary,

I introduced my guy(who I graduated High School with) to my only girl friend in town (who we also grad. HS with) and he asked her out and she WENT and now they are "in love" and both of them dropped me like a hot rock!! "When you find your sweetheart in the arms of your best friend, that's when your heartaches begin". What was I thinking? That I could trust them? yeah. I'm sweet like that. funny thing...I miss her more than i miss him. we used to go to kareoke night together and shopping or just out to the floating dock on the river with a glass of nice wine. I guess they both feel guilty and wouldn't talk to me. I am not chasing them. I even took a leap of faith in God and deleted their numbers from my cell phone. It still hurts. I will not call either of them again. They won't last. She hates smokers and he wouldn't even quit smoking with me!! She whines and has a nasty mouth when she's mad or drunk. I will not be here for either of them when it's over between them. But, oh, i miss the attention, from him mostly, and the cuddles and kisses. He is the "entertainer". He has everyone on DVD in concert you'd ever want to see and he would bring them and play them for me and cook shrimp or scallops wrapped in bacon, or fresh oysters that I would steam or mussels and I would make garlic butter for them. I feel so alone, but, at least i have stopped crying.
