Tea is ice tea I think of hot tea if you say tea. But I am a transplant.

When I was in Boston for a two week seminar in 91 I had to go through great lengths to get iced tea in November. Waitress: We don't have iced tea. Me (catching on quickly): Do you have tea? Waitress: Yes. Me: Do you have ice and a glass? Waitress: Yes. Me: Bring me some tea and a glass full of ice please. Made the tea (hot water brought in a coffee cup with a tea bag), poured tea in ice glass. Waitress: You can't do that! Me: I just did! End of story: I got my iced tea in Boston in November. You have to know how to work the system up there close to D.C.

I will make hot tea, late on a winter evening, when just tired of coffee. Hot tea, lemon, maybe a dash of sugar; just a change of pace. Really enjoy it.
