So many people want to watch the superbowl. Why try and force romance during that specific time? It can happen any other time.

I'd choose either one. You could even do both on the same night.

If you're watching a replay, you can do that any night...why waste an opportunity to do somethng out of the ordinary?

It's probably best to try for something out of the ordinary when someone's not trying to watch a big game. Keeps you from having a big argument. laugh

I guess my point is why worry about it during that short time period if they're into the game? There's plenty of other time when you'll have their full attention.

If they're not into the game/sports in general, then it's not an issue.

I do understand your point. Maybe you didn't understand my original point...all I'm saying is that he's watching a replay of a game, why not do something else instead...If his point is to meet someone...he might have better luck if he changes up his routine a little...or am I not understanding what a replay is?

I think he was saying he'd rather have a nice night with a woman and watch a reply another time, which is what you're saying. So you both agree.

Besides, the superbowl for many isn't just a game. It's the game. I know that may not make much sense if you don't live over here.

Well, the Superbowl is different from regular football games. It's the last match of that year, the final hurrah ...nobody who likes football is gonna want to miss it for anything. We have huge Superbowl parties for it. It's a big deal in the states. Lol

I've gone to superbowl parties every year as long as I can remember and I'm not even into NFL.

Oh....I missed the replay part of the op. Geez. Lol

I myself would not want to watch a replay. Its one day a year. I think I can plan a romantic night around that. Hahaha

Oh, I see...Thanks ShannonMarie flowerforyou

Maybe because I'm not a football enthusiast - although I did have a crush on Joe Montana and use to watch a lot of the 49ers games... but doesn't replay mean that it's not a live game? Or doesn’t that matter if it’s the last game of the season?

I am not a sports fan of any sort. However, I respect anyone who wants to enjoy their passion. I don't force things on them and expect the same in return.
