Some of my favorite non-horror related obscure movies.

Gummo. No
Forbidden Zone. Yes
Manic. No
Melvin Goes to Dinner. No
The Science of Sleep. No
Secretary. No
Brick. No
Skidoo. No
Bliss. No
And more i'm sure I'll think of.

What are some of your favorite obscure movies?

Some of these aren't so obscure...

Thankskilling
Special
Dead Snow
Easy Wheels
Dollman
Sex Galaxy
Suck
UHF
The Last Lovecraft: The relic of Cthulu
Videodrome
Dead Heat

I'm another fan of The Last Lovecraft: The relic of Cthulu.
I read a lot of Lovecraft's stuff when I was younger.
Question, was Dead Snow worth watching? I've heard mixed reviews on that. I have yet to watch it.
If I started naming horror related stuff. I'd more than likely be here all day.

Have you seen The Call of Cthulhu? Probably the closest Lovecraft adaptation I've seen...not saying I didn't love films like ReAnimator or From Beyond.

I have seen it. The ones that irritate me or the ones that are "inspired" by Lovecraft. The majority of them are pretty ridiculously far off.

Plain Clothes: Not many know about this film. It's from the 80's, and it is directed by Martha Coolidge (who directed Real Genius). Actually has a good cast but and is actually pretty funny.

David And Lisa '62- Two teens fall in love in a mental institution.

Little Murders '71- Directed by and starring Alan Arkin. A woman brings her new boyfriend home to meet her very strange family.

UFOria '85- Residents of a small town await the arrival of a UFO seen in visions by a lonely supermarket clerk.

Nothing Lasts Forever '84- Surreal romantic scifi comedy that pays tribute to older Hollywood films. A young artist looking for work, encounters bums who are in control of everything, and a bus that's headed to the moon. Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Eddie Fisher.

Doin' Time On Planet Earth '88- A teen believes he is really a prince from outer space.

The Wizard of Speed and Time '88- Mike Jittlov wrote, directed, starred in, and provided the special effects for this comedy loosely based on his experience working for Disney in the 70's.

Hyperspace '84- Lord Buckethead and his Jawa-like minions crash land on earth looking for the princess and her secret transmissions. Super corny but fun low low budget Star Wars spoof.

Twister '89- An eccentric family in Kansas await a big storm. Harry Dean Stanton, Crispen Glover.

And from the mind of Larry Blamire-

Trail Of The Screaming Forehead '07- Spoof of 50's scifi movies about alien foreheads that attach themselves to their victims to take them over.

The Lost Skeleton Of Cadavra '01- Spoof of low budget 50's scifi, and Ed Wood movies.

The Lost Skeleton Returns Again '09- Spoof of 1950's/60's jungle pictures.

Dark And Stormy Night'09- Spoof of the 1930's 'the old dark house' type movies.

That reminded me of.
The Trotsky - A high school student believes he's the reincarnation of Leon Trotsky. When he's sent to a public high school he rallies with students to form a Student Union.

I'm not sure why, but I didn't really care for The Woman, much. I thought I would like it.
