my profile clearly indicates that I am a man looking for a woman to date SO why the heck are ads popping up on mingle2 with respect to dating guys...is this done on purpose to try and get straight men into the gay scene???...I find it repulsive!

my lord. it's just an ad. i keep getting ads for asian women. are they trying to get me with an asian woman? i doubt it.

Yep, I get ads for women too. Keep telling them I just don't swing that way.

I find it annoying - just like when I get solicited by a cashier at a grocery store to donate money to help feed hungry kids.

I explain nicely that when I donate I prefer to write it off my taxes instead of allowing a company to write it off of there taxes . . . I also get to pick my charities more wisely.

this is a thought! For example this smart phone, when I access this site, shows a screen for me to select if I am a man or woman And To choose what am I looking for?! Man or woman? Perhaps, inadvertently your screen picked up the wrong selection! It happened to me, once, but I figured it out. Got a big laugh out of it! If that helped. I am happy to be of help!

Our ads are not based on your gender settings, Derek. These advertisements are needed in order to produce revenue. Without them, Mingle2 could not remain free.
