I have a multi-track app on this iPod. Not sure what kind of sound it'll put out, but I can give your bathroom idea a shot and send you a sample. : ) * to Audrey, forgot the quote* Cheers mate, glad I could help ya out. Haha, anything for that natural reverb since I can't yet afford to get the professional one. I will though. :) I was offering guitar tracks if you want. : ) Oh my god, really?! I really don't know a lot of people that could do that. I love acoustic-based stuff, so anything you have is fine. :) |

I need your help Audrey. I found Kereoke songs on YouTube, that I would like to sing, but I dont know how to sing along with them, and record it, on my computer. Will you please, teach me? Hey yeah, I'm really ghetto with my stuff. I just do a search on YT and sing off of those and tape it off my phonecam and transfer the mp3s to a video and make it with a pic or whatever. You got a webcam right? Well I do but mine really horrible, one of these days I'm getting a proper mic for all this recording, hearing it back REALLY hurts my ears. I'd use your cam for the recording part, I think it should be fine. |

But once you find a really good video, place it in the background, as far as volume goes, I'm not really an expert on that since I'm relying on the music to play well and not tile or skip, as in outside noise. Make sure your cam is set to pick up everything. I made the mistake of setting my cam the other way now my voice doesn't pick up, my speaking one. So make sure things are set before recording. The mic should pic up all the sounds that way. |

You can't, I can't
Woe, the caged bird screams She dies, but doesn't break her wings Inside she reaches, tries to makes sense And runs, she pulls forward, the fog is dense To dig out of the grave, her personal lie It happened again, more feelings just die To the soul that is squeezed, what is left? She speaks this Can't know it, eyes opened through the kiss Its poisen that freezes, its pain that pleases Through it all, she stands, not sure of tomorrow But in that minute, drenched in her biting sorrow The sweet sounds of life, couldn't she for a moment only borrow? No, she says, and speaks softly, slowly A pattern that dances when she is awake But only fate tells her to never forsake The slow carass of the day, careless and lonely The lifeline slipping down her cheeks, hard to see She covers those feelings, trying to just be In crowded room, she screams in her mind Watches the smiles, laughs the cruel depts of time And then she lays down, drained, stoic and scared How much can one soul truly bare? The harsh lights, they stare Not at her but the numbness that used to be Pushes herself off, once again, the mirror shows...she can't be me |

Euphoria
He makes me think He makes me sing A writer could never dream so sweet Desperate sounds of fate Come over me, you don't see it Don't feel it The journey is breathing, Sight is knowing If dreams came true In my life would be new If I believed myself more Then my heart could finally soar Streams of you seep through these words, so carefully So I'm using these dreams to carry my hopes fluidly Its not something you believe in That doesn't matter, reaching outside... I'm going to win No more argument, just peace My faith stabs everything, puts my soul at ease To know you, honor is gracious I smile when I sleep, feeling your kiss (inspired by Leigh, nicked the title, thanks! ) |

Weigh Less
If I looked a certain way You wouldn't look away You couldn't ignore what I say I wouldn't hate the day This I know, as life passes I grow But you stay the same, still hating my name Still used to the same things As your life turns to constant shame Beauty is subjective But this you don't believe Hair of sunshine... of gold, This is who you wish to hold I used to cry at night so much Someone like me, you could never touch But time she knows me well All my secrets, to you I won't tell Dreaming of you disappears, crazy Peaceful thoughts come back, not so hazy Starting to return to normal, this is all I wanted But you always come back, doesn't matter what I said One day, I won't be there One you gave away will be the day you start to care |

I'll help ya. We'll make a date out of it. |

Hmm, powerful. I felt like I was pulled along the story, then backed up, then in again. What a roller coaster that was. You have a great narrative. "She'll forget me just as easily as she loved me." Gaaaah, stop it, too real for me. Wonderful, I love it Kevin. A calming and serene tone, like ripples flowing through the piece. |

Hey, bumping this because I may do something different with my art.
I'm gonna maybe, possibly post recordings of my poetry. Feel free to comment or whatever. I really don't mind. I haven't yet decided when I'm going to do it as it's new for me so I may just continue with my poetry for now until I do some recordings. The youtube links no longer work as I deleted them. |
