I'm not a fan of that sort of music, but the important thing is that you were in tune.  You need a better microphone because the one you're using starts gaining when you hit high notes. Adding some reverb (room size) would improve the quality as well. (pro signers do this all the time) 
Its give or take with that kinda music. You either love it or ya hate it. HAHA, I wish I was in tune. I was really just playing around with the lyrics, I think I got someone of the words wrong in the beginning. The speaking part. Could have acted it out more. I'm supposed to have A LOT more pep than that. I need a WAY better recording tool then what I've been using. Yeah, when I hit higher its always cause I have the phone held up to my mouth. I never know what's a good distance to stand from it. I guess this comes from doing this more and more. |

I am a dark gal  with a blinding smile. That narrows me down to a T.
I actually wrote the piece when I was 20, still in the after affects of my dark period from 16 on. My life was rough. I was still figuring myself out. Its still happening. I guess in some ways I still feel that way. Its a sucky feeling but I've grown so used to it sadly.
I still have sad struggles but I'm come a LONG way from never feeling good to SOMETIMES feeling good. Its a battle that I am fighting with myself.  Thank you Terry!

I am pretending that audience is for reals. lol I feel naked when I post art, but afterwards I feel like my nudity paid off. lol I never stopped writing. Just to add a little more to it I wrote this one during writer's block. I had a lot going on in my head but I didn't know how to express it all. I think that's why it sounds pressed in some areas. you're right Audrey, the acoutics in the bathroom sound wonderful!
I feel like I need music in there though. My home bathroom isn't as good. Acapella is hard singin, very hard without some sort of backing. I need a dude to back me. Or anyone, chicks with guitars kill it too. Any takers? Anyone here can sight read or play by ear on the guitar? Just curious, will give credit to you personally and will love you forever.

I'm not a fan of that sort of music, but the important thing is that you were in tune. You need a better microphone because the one you're using starts gaining when you hit high notes. Adding some reverb (room size) would improve the quality as well. (pro signers do this all the time)

If you come over to my place, I'll let you use my recording tools. You just have to promise not to accidentally spit all over the place when you're up next to the mic or knock over the equipment. I may have you warm up with an omni-directional mic before I risk letting you use the condenser mic. I keep my home studio pretty well climate-controlled, so you'll be very comfortable singing nekkid (as Fred Reed would say).
I know you're very excited to talk with me again-you might even have a case of the vapors now. I'll give you a while to ruminate on all this as fantasies of me swirl and dance in your head. Пока, Вам любовнику Матвей.

Well with Broadway you can actually sing any way you want. Fast Julie Andrews vibrato or slow Diana Ross style. I'm somewhere in between. Not completely out of tune, like I said acapella=hard singing. I needs the musics. I think I can control myself with the spitting. I have no idea what any of the fancy studio terms mean. You'll have to give me the reader's digest version as I be a little novice in this type of thing. In fact I know zilch about recording. Hello, making do with hard makeshift devices... But then you know this as we discussed it at great lengths. I'm sure I'll be comfortable in a studio, hell that's like Disneyland for me!!!
Sure...I always had a thing for musicians, NONE of this is shocking. OH youuuuu

Nah I saw that one too. But it wasn't on the channel. OH WELLS. Yeah the vid wasn't private or anything so I assumed it was open. We totally should do a song/number together. I love karaoke and can really bring out the rock when I want to, but I think it'll sound like Bono lol I'd love to! We should def do this!!! You need more videos gurl.
