Your impulse to run and hide is valid. Go with your gut!

Conspiracy theories share many common attributes. They are all
conjecture with no evidence. There is no reason to fear conspiracy
theories - they are paper tigers.

Most of them revolve around various ancient recycled themes.

Read all about them here and dispel any lingering doubts.
Base your reality on demonstrable evidence and never on innuendo.

And stay away from the conspiracy theorists whose warped and
unprovable world of shadows and fantasy should only scare themselves!

Here's some FACTS for you.

Fox is a Government News Station - Fact.

Fox has their Broadcasts pre-approved by Government Officials - Fact.

Wikipedia has over 5,000 'believed' entries hand written by 10 year olds that know how to use spell check.

Wikipedia is one of the least legitimate research search engines on the web.

The Illuminati does exist. - Fact

-------------------------------------

Now while I could be here all day..
I'm not wasting my energy.

Secondly, or maybe fifthly (if that's a word): I don't believe in about 97.8% of the Conspiracies out there.

However, that does NOT mean there is NO validity whatsoever behind each and all claims.

To tell someone 'Believe only what you see with the facts' is naive and, no offense, is to be very 'blind'.

So, if on the news they said,
'All the Taliban have been captured or killed.'

Yet that same day, a man screaming 'Long Live the Taliban' blows up the local mall...

On the evening news they report the situation chimed with, 'This terrorist was not associated with the Taliban but he is believed to be part of the '****' terrorist faction.'

You would immediately accept that as fact?

That doesn't make you 'smart' or 'safe'.
That makes you a gullible, expendable tool.

What you SHOULD believe, is what YOU yourself see.
Take everything else under consideration.

And fyi, no, I'm not a conspiracy freak; however, I do pay attention to their words, because you never know what may have some 'truth' in it.

The Illuminati were wiped out by the Catholic Church, none left after the Purge.

I bet you believe there's an actual group called the Priory of Scion also eh?

Priory of Scion, no.

And no they weren't.

That's what the Church wants you to believe.

But, hey, think what you want.

Your choice. Your freedom.

The Church also tells you lots of things that they contradict.
But, go ahead, you have fun believing those hypocrites.

laugh The Priory of Scion thing isn't anything the church wants you to believe, that conspiracy theroy in fact did hurt the church's image enough where the Pope not only went after the Author's of Holy Blood, Holy Grail and the DaVinci Code but banned both books from every church affiliated school, library and church personnel from reading them.

It is a conspiracy started by a French convicted conman named Pierre Plantard in hopes of grandiosity, a romantic reactionary ideology, and the prospect of fame and fortune

I just wanted to say I enjoy the h*ll out of my little conspiracy nut playmate. Why? Cause though twisted, he's a brainiac. Yes, he thinks TOO much but to me that is better than someone who doesn't ponder anything at all. I enjoy it. He will often ask me to read something and then we discuss. It's like our own little private demented book club or something. I love him dearly but could never be with him because I would be terrified of the universe but he's really smart and cool.

Eh, ok..

Relevance is..?

Are you attacking me..
..or answering her question?

I said I didn't believe in the Priory of Scion; which, you just named three fictional books associated with it? They proclaim not to believe the 'Truthers' because of the 'lack' of backing evidence.

Yet those who proclaim that, are associated with those who can actually get this same proof; and do what they choose to do with it.

My point is, and has been, not to ignore everything just because of its 'source'. If it bothers you that much that something 'could' be true; research it for yourself.

Only accept what you know, see, and accept for yourself - as the truth.

So, in retrospect..

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make except by taking parts of what I said and combining them.

I never related the church to the Priory? That was in sync with the Illuminati. Not sure what's up with the laughing smiley, when all you're doing is proving my point.

The laughing smileys are used by so-called debunkers when they don't have any evidence to support their refutiation, and their only resort is to try to laugh "at" a person who says things that they don't want to believe. It is called ridicule and they think it makes them look smart.

Yup.

The great flood that wiped out all life..
Yet people were living at the time, not drastically that far away from it.. and knew nothing of it.

Or a burning bush in the desert..
While the idea of 'combustion' pops into my head..
So does delirium; isn't that what happens when you cross a desert without food or water?

As I've been saying, related to my point..

Truth is only what you, as an individual make it.

If you take another's words, and call that' fact'..
I could literally sit here and right a massive entry about 'bull crap' and you take that as truth..

What does that truly say about you?

So thank you, floating angel, for understanding me. :D

Which is exactly why the government wants to regulate the internet, they can't control the content like they can everywhere else.
