Mountains are pretty, but I prefer the beach. It poured really, really hard on my trip to Charlotte last year. But, when I got to the hotel, there was a rainbow. one of the things I miss about the east is that both the mountains and the beaches are within reasonable distance!!! |

The nice thing about having roughly 30 pages of weird art is that this isn't going to get moved if I start ranting about things that piss me off and are totally unrelated.
Like the fact that a motorcycle-safety bill had anti-abortion legislation contained in it, and this information was not disclosed to the democratic regime in the state until it was supposed to be on the floor. The democrats managed to push back the vote for a day, but it still passed 74-41. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/07/11/north-carolina-motorcycle-abortion_n_3582006.html This is the second time in a week that they've tried to slip anti-abortion measures secretly into some unrelated or completely disconnected legislature. Even if you're pro-life, this is absolutely absurd, and I have no idea why anybody would want to carry on supporting the republican representatives of this state when the only way they can see fit to further restrict the rights of women is through overt trickery that even the super-republican governor isn't happy about. Also, I'm not a democrat or a republican. I think the whole party system is ridiculous and strays people away from issues by polarizing two groups to keep them unfocused from what's really important - the individual. Hey, look, something that isn't depressing (this is really only depressing to me because I made a conscious choice to move to this backwards-*** state). |

So much hate...Doesn't seem so unrealistic that there is no love at all, perhaps even it never existed in the first place.

Peeps will just go to a state where it's legal.... it was one of the Carolinas recently that was trying to claim that federal statute did not apply to them for some reason??? IDK the south is a little strange sometimes. I really think they struggle in much of the south with keeping religious/moral issues separated from the public process. Clearly, all being equal under the law, states cannot legislate their religion into law. I am sure there will be a legal challenge soon - if it hasn't already begun. but I do like chickory in my coffee :) |

*hug*, 2Kids.
Oh, that's cool. I like twisted Indian deity art. Like Louis Wain... who drew cats... and then got schizophrenia(possibly from all the cats he hung out with [seriously, it's called toxoplasmosis]). |
