I went to some choral show for this girl and nearly passed out from low blood sugar so I got this 3 dollar slushee thing and I kept pouring warm water that I was carrying into it so that it would just be cold, sugary water that tasted like lime and all the parents looked really concerned that I was getting loaded off vodka next to a playground in 90 degree weather.

I don't really dig much rap these days, typically I'm the one still jammin' to the dead artists of the 90's.

But the way Macklemore is rushing the scene and bringing to light all of the problems with this current generation of rap music is too much to ignore, the dude has a message and he is conveying it well...Similar to the message Trent Reznor has been trying to get out since dropping his record contract.
