First, turn of your caps lock. All caps = yelling, rude and harder to read.

Second, if you're not getting the responses you're looking for, take a look at what you're sending and make some changes. Make sure you're reading profiles first. If there's anything written there that has gotten your interest, comment on it. Give them something to respond to as well.

I am not being mean in saying this. You need to know basic internet etiquette is that all caps is LITERALLY SCREAMING on the web. You are shouting at people. Seriously. That's a turn OFF. Also, stating your concerns in compliant format is not attractive for a man or woman. It is better if you say things in a more constructive manner. For instance, to rephrase what you said, I would say "Ladies, what DOES get your attention and make you reply to certain guys and not others?" Do you see by saying that you are actually engaging women to tell you about themselves AND what they DO like? As opposed to triggering someone sensitive into going on a rampage about why they don't like something.

As for myself, the people I answer are the ones that take time to obviously make a statement about ME on a person level. It's like the country song, "I Wanna Talk About Me". People do not want to hear you, you, you. Though eventually they will ask if interested. They like to feel like you have interest in THEM.

Being polite goes a long way. At least with me. For instance, "I really enjoyed your profile. My name is Doug. Pleasure to write you. What is your name?"

Doug, let me tell you a little about my experience.

I have written seven books. My books are being sold all over the world, in places like Iran and Finland and New Zealand and South Africa, in addition to most of the normal countries.

I feel safe in assuming I can write a little bit.

But when I first signed up here, I tried sending some messages to some local girls. And I never got a reply. Not one.

So it occurred to me that, since this wasn't working, I should start posting in the forums and make myself known to the site as a whole. And I did that. And not too long afterwards, they started writing to me. And I haven't sent out a first message since.

Being in the forums -- that's the way to get known around here.

Also having a picture helps...I answer all my mail but don't like talking to someone I don't know what they look like...

That is VERY true. If I see no picture, I think this is one of those two minute testing the people who are not serious and going to bail, or potentially a scammer who is going to be blocked in three seconds.

Yes we are too lazy to reply to emails that say: Hey Sexy, Hey Baby, You are Hottttt! Not that you send those kind of emails.

And sometimes no reply, IS A REPLY.

today I got a mail from a guy who tells me he's a reformed bad boy. in the 3rd msg he wants me to send him pics of body parts and cam/chat



I just said no

so I replied and so what I get a weirdo....so that is why some of don;t reply - cuz a lotta guys act like horny 9th graders
