Haha :) I know how you feel, girl. People don't understand when i tell em it's just like people being addicted to anything else really. It made people think i was depressed, but whatever. They always jump to conclusions.

Yeah, i'm not big on people's judgements either. I just personally enjoy having the ability to constantly change my hair. I just did mine yesterday actually.

Perfect is something that is exactly what you had in mind.

Perfect is getting the exact thing you needed at the right time.

Perfect is when everything falls into place the way you intended it to.

The perfect plan.

The perfect crime.

The perfect murder.

The perfect storm.

If you could change yourself in body and mind, looks and age... to be what you would consider to be perfect, what would you do?

If you were a creative spirit, and you could create or manifest the perfect body for you to inhabit what would it look like?

If you could program that body to be able to do things well naturally, what would you program yourself to be able to do?

I wanted to be a ballet dancer when I was young. I would have the body of a ballet dancer and the talent and abilities to be a dancer professionally.

I have a friend whose had a crappy life but is THE KING of saying the right thing at the right time and being tactful. If I could ONLY have one more character trait for the rest of my life added to my repertoire, it would be his way with people and being so patient and understand and eloquent at the same time.

If I had the power to change anything about me, I'd give myself super powers.

I guess if I really had to think about it and I could 100% change myself, I wouldn't.....I can honestly say that if I got to change some things about myself then I would just find something else to dislike about myself. It doesn't matter what I'd change something else would just take it's place......But hey that's just me :)

It's the viewer who defines the picture.

The tv set will always have its own individual tint and colour arrangement. It can't give what it ain't got.

All patients learn about medicine.

All accused learn about the law.

You can't master your own nature.

You can't top yourself and love yourself ravagedly.

And if you can, you still can't report yourself to the police for physically assaulting yourself.

The only person to whom you say "no" and who is in complete disregard of your word AND YOU KNOW THAT is your own very self.

You can change your shoes if you don't like them. You can change your friends, nationality, parents, identity. Clothes, hair colour, perfume, underwear, sanitary pads. The only thing you can't change is your dislike of things that you dislike.

Two days later, nope, still ok with being myself :)

All patients learn about medicine.

I agree with you about that. Sometimes a dr has tried everything to make a patient better again, but sometimes, some patients have no choice but to do their own research, on what they're ill with. If nothing the dr suggests ever works, then you use your own methods. I know this as my dr just couldn't give me anything more for my severe stomach cramps. That made me want to experiment with different things, to see what really helped.

I'm comfortable being me as i am. I don't avoid anything. Oh, but one thing would be nice, and that would be a bulldozer, so i could voluntary knock down my neighbours house, then we wouldn't have to put up with her children who are quite the bullies. Back to reality though, that probably won't happen.

I last coloured mine seven days ago. I normally have to use two boxes of the dye in one go, though, laugh, cos i have really thick, long hair. At the moment, i have a cherry colour on it. Or i THINK it is. It's a cherry colour mixed with violet. I look like I've just stepped out of MCR's "Planetry Go!" video. laugh

If I wanted to perfect a toaster, I would have to know what a toaster was suppose to do.

If I wanted to perfect a car, I would have to know what a car was suppose to do.

If I wanted to perfect a radio, I would have to know what a radio was suppose to do.

And if I wanted to perfect a rock, I would have to know what the rock was suppose to do.

Now, this brings up something interesting. A rock has no purpose, so, can it ever be perfected? One rock is just as good as another. One can say, all rocks are equal, as there is noting they have to do. Any purpose claimed for a rock is just as good as another. Judge not any rock.

Perfect for something. The drive for perfection may imply that there is a purpose in mind.

So, if one has not even the slightest idea of purpose, I imagine the question is pointless.

Now, take the case of a toaster. One could not even make one if one did not know what its purpose was to be.

Or a car,

So, if one imagines, for example, the self, could anyone be driven for self perfection if they had no idea of what the purpose of a person was?

Then there are various levels of awareness of what the purpose of a thing is for,

Take for example Kohlbergs stages of moral development.

Each stage of may be likened to a stage of self awareness, and the greater the awareness is, the change in focus as to why someone does something changes.

It is like being born with bad eyes, but slowly one works with them and things come into focus.

Now, every environmental acquisition system of a living organism has a purpose, to maintain and promote the life of that organism. Each has a specific domain of responsibility to maintaining and promoting the life of the body.

There are seven of these systems, a constant metaphor in Scripture, but Science has been happy with "sensations" and mostly does not take the big step.

There are seven of these systems in the organism of man, that I see.

1 The digestive system.
2 The respiratory system.
3 The ocular system.
4 The vestibular system.
5 The manipulative system.
6 The procreative system.
7 The judgmental system.

To be perfect, is both biologically, and scripturally the same. Learn judgment.

You must have had one hell of a night.

Each of the above systems determines what is moral and ethical, in regard to the self, and in regard to how one treats the environment.

A rock, on the other hand, makes a nice garden.

A rock never asks this, this very important question. How do I perfect myself. It is the first step, not the last, in self awareness.

Notice that each of the above systems works best when guided by judgment. If one wishes to be ruler of all, one must be servant of all. Not a very difficult concept at all. However, it does denote a radical psychological change in mankind. One that has been foretold. From being ego-centric, to being craft-centric.

As it has been written, it shall be done, for the good of mankind. I just think it is sad, at this point in history, when people think of improving themselves that they paint their face, color their hair, and cry when told they have a real job to do, a real life to get.
