Hi everyone! I'm 100% Michigan born and raised. :) :) I just wish Michigan had better job opportunities. I'm going to graduate in about a year.. and there aren't too many nice jobs that are opening up. Sad, huh?

Thanks! Everyone's real nice on here :) I would love to just move away and not think about it, but I'm so close to my family - it would be heart wrenching! I lived in Orlando twice for a few months at a time, for internships and that was hard enough!
I think the Michigan water has something in it, to keep all of us here.

lol, well with me, its more a matter of financially unable to afford a move..(though i have considered it)..just can't get by the facts of the situation though

I totally understand. And then if you were to save up the money and finally move, prices are probably going to be higher really concerning everything... it's just a mess. It's easier to stay in washed up Michigan, lol.

Hmm, this thread is still going, that makes me kinda happy.
Anyway, who is ready for snow?  I'm not and I am going to pray that snow misses us this year. Well, maybe a little for Christmas but then it can go away. I have no idea why I'm thinking of snow right now but seeing as its almost 5am, that may have something to do with my strange behavior. Time for sleep.

I wonder how many more people from Michigan are on this site and not saying anything.
Anyway, I was at the lake today and it was great. I saw a profile on another website where the person said something that I found quite funny. She said, "I just moved to Michigan so I have no beaches near me anymore". I found that quite funny as we have more coast line in the great lakes than the entire east coast. Oh well.
