hey gang....summer's beautiful here, but winter truly sucks...i s'pose the same could be said about any part of the state in that regard though..(that is, assuming ur not a winter person, such as myself...lol)

Not a winter person here either. But yeah, the U.P. is a great place, I used to do alot of camping and hiking up there. I keep telling myself that one day I'm gonna make the migration up that way. If I could find some land on lake superior (that a normal human can afford) I probably would do it in a heart beat.

Hi there,
I just moved to Colorful Colorado from Michigan after spending over 20 year there. I miss my "20 Lakes in 20 minutes", and most of all, my Michigander friends. I love Colorado, plus most all of my family is here.....but the people aren't as friendly here and the cost of living is twice that of Michigan. Colorado is truely my home but Michigan is home away from home and I can't wait to come visit. Just wanted to say "Hey" to all you Michiganders! |

Well hi and come back anytime cause the lakes are still here lol. I was surprised to hear that the people arent as friendly there cause I've been told by quite a few people in different states that they think people in Michigan are snotty LOL. Not saying I agree with them but thats what I hear sometimes.

were in the same boat then daniel becuase the only two people from michigan that i have heard from both contacted me first, still no response from any of the ones i tried to contact. if you're not a winter person michigan can be unfriendly but it's great if you like to snomobile, sled and do other winter sports. |

I wonder how long I would have to hold my breath before more Michigan humans speak on here. I think I can handle a couple minutes but after that I'm screwed. Oh the boredom continues....

I love fall too but that also means my boat has to be out of the water which will suck. Darn marina closes in early september. But I think fall is my favorite time of year.

i got vacation at end of august guys..going down around onaway, oqueoc, area for some beautiful scenery...maybe some cabining, or camping, swimming in the falls...man, was down that way my last vacation...what a beautiful area that has become!!
