We had our Christmas Tree lighting downtown last night.

My Christmas lighting will consist of
replacing the burned-out bulb in the bathroom. The City does decorate my street though. Keeps the touristas happyish. |

London seems to have been struck by a severe case of political correctness this year and have gone for coloured lights on the lamp posts instead of the usual tacky santas, stars and xmas trees...great for festive bah humbugs like me

Just flicker flame neon electric candles in the windows this year, with one exception - a battery powered flickering LED candle in one window. I also have a lighted Merry Christmas sign at the front door. Probably won't put up my table top tree this year. Nobody ever comes to my house anyways to see it. What's the use of putting it up and decorating it?
