Ya know....If a chick was in the kitchen making man sammiches and folding laundry, she probably wouldn't be cheating on the Dude who is just trying to give her some personal space.

hehehehehe

Call me a cynic, please, but I have a huge feeling that the guy who is waiting for his turn in the sidelines, is going to be just as much of an azzole than the apparently uncaring guy.

You see... people ALWAYS attract and settle with the same type of lover, over and over and over again. This is true. Nobody figured out why it happens this way, but all relationship counsellors will tell you this.

You see... the guy lurking is employing a tactic he may have learned from the competition, when he, himself had been ousted by a different, other lurker.

The girl is nothing but a toy in this game of cold-hearted, calculating, self-centred men.

You see... research shows that almost all guys (99 in a hundred) are calculating, self-centred egotists.

So the poem is true, I don't deny this. The guy who takes the girl for granted is itching to get into a new relationship. The lurker too.

It's just a method of musical chairs, nothing more, actually.

Sometimes it takes children and fifteen years of marriage for the players to get up and move over one chair, sometimes it takes two months, two weeks, one night.

Life is not a fairy tale. Life is not a dress rehersal. Life is not an undress-rehersal, either. Not all the life is a stage.

What life is, for most of us... is musical chairs.

If it warsn't, why do you thing it is such a popular game with late adolescents? The "tag" is to catch a good catch, "hide and seek" is to prepare you to hide out in war or when the ugly boys are on the loose, or on the prowl, "ball" is self-evidently named, "nurses and doctors" is to teach exploratory ideas are fun, "playing house" teaches the boy to bring home the mullah, and for her to prepare the home meals and keep the homestead, and in the evening both get their reward, each oteher, "dolls" are showing your the grave consequences that happen if you don't hide well or don't run fast enough, and, finally, "musical chairs" is just one of them children's games that prepare the little snatts for real life.

Actually, I disagree with this one. What is actually going on is that the guy on the sidelines is the guy the woman sees as "just a friend." So that when the jerk that is treating her horribly leaves, she'll cry on the "friend's" shoulder for a while, and then hook up with some other a-hole who treats her poorly.

Basically she'll completely dismiss the affections of the guy who treats her well and go for another guy that treats her like dirt. It's a classic scenerio, you know like "Ducky" from "Pretty in Pink."
