What kinds of positive things do you do to stay in happiness as much as possible?
One of the biggest ones for me is living by the philosophy of: Holding myself to the highest standards in all areas of life and expecting nothing from others. It is amazingly effective to reach personal happiness. |

Good answers.
What about your mental and emotional happiness, such as how you speak (mentally) to yourself or about others? Making it positive has a huge effect on your personal well being too. Interaction with fellow humans, one I am still working on, how do you interact positively to make life better for yourself and others? I try to never judge since I can't walk in others shoes. I try to smile a lot when I encounter others to make it a more positive interaction. |

Very interesting question Dragoness
At a very basic level ... I choose it. When faced with multiple ways to react to situations, I always think which way feels lighter, which reaction would make me happier and bring more joy or peace to others. I don't judge people, I expect the best and I don't spend a lot of time around negative people or circumstances. I cultivate a feeling of gratitude for whatever shows up and look for the value in it ... |

If I feel down I look into my daughters beautiful faces. They are both Gods greatest gifts to me. I see their wonderful Father in their mannerisms .They are my greatest joy in life and always bring a smile to face. And when that doesn't work I try yoga. If that doesn't work a big bowl of chips and dip always does.

It is amazingly effective to reach personal happiness. You know that is a very thought provoking question. I am a perfectionist and strive to be that way but although its suppose to make me happy; it ends up making me very unhappy when I can't perfect something. It makes me happy when I volunteer to teach music and of course donating food and clothing to those less fortunate. |

Having had 3 surgeries in the last 2 yrs, my drs are amazed that I heal so well and quickly.. They say its because of my positive attitude... I agree...

I will always try to find something positive in every situation. I've always been that way. If I've been wronged, I look at it from the other persons perspective. I think my headline even says happiness is a choice. It really is.

I wake up and put my two feet on the floor...then take one step at a time hmmm...good one. In india we have a traditional way. When u wake up,before opening ur eyes completely, have a sit in bed, take ur both hands close, take them in front of ur face ,open ur eyes slowly & watch the lines on your hand. This watching pleases you & whole day becomes pleasant!! It works, just try it. (Sorry for my poor english, but I hope everyone got me ) |
