The Five Main Reasons Why The Internet Makes You Stupid!

1. A lack of actual conflict - since you are never face to face with someone on the internet you can be completely honest with you ideas. Tact? Why do I need to use a lighter touch with my words? What're gonna do, track me down and punch me? I'd like to see that!

2. The Impersonal Touch - People seem to forget that there are other people at the other computers and therefor a lot of people in Weblogs and chatrooms treat other people like some kind of disgusting race of Mole People... no offense to the Mole people in the audience.

3. Dumb Minds Think Alike - If you have a thought, there are at least 5 other people on the internet who have thought the same thing, so making a community of nut-jobs on the internet is incredibly easy. I for one am part of a group of people who think Coke is Better than Pepsi and are turned on by that idea. (not really... that's a joke)

4. "So Easy A Caveman Can Do It!" - Posting in a Blog or chatroom is so easy that ANYONE can do it, even backward Racist people with learning disabilities and only one arm because they lost it while trying to lynch a gay guy. (That's a complete exaggeration... although they might be one.)

5. "Making Friends is Fun" - Sometimes you never had a thought in your head until some silly twit online introduced it to you. Sadly the internet produces Racists and Sexists as well as gives them a place to "play".

Oh well, I guess as long as nobody ACTUALLY gets hurt, there is always the Ignore button!

Oh on a side note, I was gonna put this in jokes, but after typing it out, I realized I didn't make it as funny as I hoped.
