some people on here, and other places think that average weight means two or less fat rolls, and a few extra pounds means "i cant see my feet". OMG...may be that's true. Due to changed habits of eating & due to automation everywhere many people are gaining weights. Slimming centers are flourishing. In countries like somalia childrens & old guys are dying of hunger. I think it has a lot to do with processed foods and wrong information when it comes to nutrition. Like the food pyramid saying the most food should come from grains. That is wrong. Grains were not even part of the human diet before the agricultural revolution. Then people think they should eat low fat, which is wrong again. You ever notice how its typically heavier people who buy low fat stuff? Fat doesn't make you fat. In fact fat helps you burn fat. It is essential to the process. Agreed; its in how we eat. I eat low fat, and low carbs but don't cut out fat completely. I don't eat fried food, breaded foods, not too many grains, sugary foods, and little or no junkfood. I eat more of an Asian diet which is quite healthy. I am not fit as I should be but my heart rate is 50, low blood pressure, low cholestoral,...well you get the picture. I know what is healthy for me and of course discuss this with my doctor. |

Poly and Mono unsaturated fats are very good for your body but people see "fat" and think its a bad thing. Saturated fats and Trans fats are good t stay away from though. Your body needs saturated fats to take care of your hair and nails as well as to burn fat. |
