Eat oat meal for breakfast, seriously. A spoon of peanut butter jazzes it up a little.

This is turning into an advice thread now, too? laugh

Well, I was doing quite well on loosing some weight till I went in to Braums today. They've got the eggnog out!  6 jugs of milk and a quart of eggnog later (which is now gone), and I'm a happy camper!!

body type should be simpler:

1. Never eats ice cream, bleh, hates food.
2. Has a taste of someone elses ice cream on rare occasions, just so they remember what its like.
3. Has an occasional indulgence of ice cream once every few months but excuses themself discretely afterward to remove it.
4. Has ice cream about as often as they do laundry.
5. Has ice cream enthusiastically, privately.
6. Enjoys large quantities of ice cream and enjoys discussions on its goodness with anyone who will engage.
7. No answer.

Or:

Has Ice Cream: YES NO

Wants Ice Cream: YES NO

Give me a break!

If it is that important to someone what I weigh ask me and I will tell you. No different than my height or eye color. It is what it is.

I am not likely to change it for anyone so if it is a big deal Oh Well Hell! Find someone more to your preferences.

What does knock me out is I can post stats or pictures and people will say that was not you or you must have gained, or more frequently lost, and they are just too stuck on their own idea what a certain weight looks like you are not going to change their mind. Especially if they are really baseing their own value on how you look with them.

When I was 20=Something I had a brick house body by commercial standards and I was the most selfconcious, tense, body dismorphic person you could imagine. Now I am a graying old pear and hey it makes me happy and I got the moves when I want them so it is all good.

Personally I actually think I look darn good for what this ole body has been through and if anyone can do better more power to them. As long as mine gets me up each morning I am happy because ageing gracefully is is a lot more important..

I was truthful in my profile I believe heavyset was the biggest size
listed.
I have no problem with being big, I have been on the bigger side all my life. I am still a fun loving person with a great sense of humour and "the old cliché" a great personality. I have found that through out my life that once a person gets to know me the weight thing has no baring on our friendship/relationships.

anyone else notice that some people on here, and other places think that average weight means two or less fat rolls, and a few extra pounds means "i cant see my feet". if you are not able to be honest with yourself, then how can you expect anyone to take you seriously?

Well we had this discussion a while back here on Mingles and most people said 10 pounds overweight is average. For me personally, 5 pounds overweight would make me from fit to overweight but that is just for my body as I am hard on myself supposedly. I think 10 pounds is a fair for average though.

See this is where we disagree. I think Average means in your average weight range. If you are over that weight range then how far over depends on the classification. I would say 10 pounds over weight is a few extra pounds as it really isn't that much is it? Thus a few.

Yeah, I think I meant to say the same thing that 10 pounds is a few extra pounds; which is average. As for my weight range; I never go by that as I weight lift. I just know what weight I need to be and like to keep within five pounds of where I should be.

If average = overweight, then we need more options for people who are under/almost underweight!

Haven't you made threads whining about fat women before? If you're that worried about how fat someone is, look at their pictures. If they are not attractive to you, move on. Simple.
