I'm here for the cleavage. You bad boy, did you take a peek at mine? Just kidding. |

Looks like most of the standard stereotypes have been covered. Here's one to add: my grandma thinks all people on dating sites are predators. The rape and murder kind. And anyone who isn't a predator is a young, naive girl that will be the victim.
...obviously she doesn't know I use any. |

I AM STEREO-TYPED as OLD MAN TIME here!!!!
With anyone who was here when THAT member arrived,, To them,,you become older, as time on here for them goes forward. YOU get stereotyped,,,,as the one of wisdom, old school, so that grand father nature,,,you just fall into if your age also agrees with its typical pulse of younger thoughts..... just saying,,,,, |

One theory as to why people stereotype is that it is too difficult to take in all of the complexities of other people as individuals.
Even though stereotyping is inexact, it is an efficient way to mentally organize large blocks of information. Categorization is an essential human capability because it enables us to simplify, predict, and organize our world. Once one has sorted and organized everyone into tidy categories, there is a human tendency to avoid processing new or unexpected information about each individual. Assigning general group characteristics to members of that group saves time and satisfies the need to predict the social world in a general sense |

which is why peeps freak when they find someone who doesn;t fit into one of those categories or boxes nice & neat
