I can remember reading, "Have a purpose in life. Be a bad example." But when I read in the Bible how Jesus was a good example especially when questions were asked of him I find that he wasn't one always to take the easy way out. One of my favorite readings in the Bible is about David because he said that the Lord was his shepherd and David was a shepherd. Like Jesus would leave the other ninety-nine to go after the one I find that sometimes I have to have the same outlook when I am at work. Sure enough my 'little buddy' will get stuck with her wheelchair. She will be just scooting with her feet going no where because she is stuck between the commode and the wall or bumping on some plastic trash container. And I will get her straightened up so she can go again. Then she will just grin at me and giggle. She is almost always the highlight of night. Amen!!! "Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another." Romans 14:19 Thank God for caretakers like you, Rainbowtrout! |

You are welcome, CeriseRose. "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28
Tonight at our AA meeting we discuss the inferiority complex. But before the meeting one of the members text me hoping I had the key to the church because he forgot to get his. I texted him back when I opened up the church to tell him that we were short on coffee cups. A few days ago the pastor took our money that we gave her for rent. She thanked us and said she would give it to their treasurer. I told her that our treasurer had a hard time getting to the meetings. They look at the money we give them as love offerings and we look at it as we are being self supporting. We agreed at tonight's meeting that we want to make our Tuesday night meeting a reading meeting. I thought the topic was a good one on inferiority complex and responsibility. After all Moses had a inferiority complex and had trouble being responsible. But he wrote the first five books of the Bible and could you imagine what the Bible would be like if it didn't have those first few words of, "In the beginning..."? I mean you got to start somewhere. |
