Please share a moment with me to pray for Dan Wheldon's , wife and two young sons. If you are not a racing fan, Dan was an excellent driver, who died today during a massive crash in the Las Vegas Indy 300.

I saw that on the internet today. I send out condolences to all of his loved ones and friends. Their worst nightmare just came true, it has to be hard.

i know. I feel so badly for his wife and those boys. The baby is only six months old and i believe the older son is only like one or two.

I am a HUGE racecar fan!

My mother used to race in the "Crazy 8", and "Demolition Derby", and "powderpuff" races.

I was horrified, when I saw Dans car go airborn, 200 feet off the ground, and hit that fence.

I knew it wasent going to be good.

A HUGE loss for racing,

Dan was such an accomplished driver.

But in that kind of crash, at those speeds, you cant stop the car...

all you can do is, hope to steer around it

Indeed a sad day for racing.

Im a huge Nascar fan and watch Indy racing some but I know Dan was a true gentleman and loved by all those he raced with!! I too was horrified when I watched the wreck and can only pray for his family!!

It's been a sad couple of days here in Vegas! Our prayers are with the family.
