A cup of coffee is usually the 1st thing that comes to mind for a first date.

In the rainy / fall / winter weather, a walk in the park does not seem such a good idea.

I dare you to suggest something more exciting than just coffee... what can your imagination do?

I think that is the best first date activity because all others would mean that you will concentrate on whichever activity - either a movie, a play, an art show, a club - therefore less conversation. The one that comes closer to the coffee would be dinner or lunch.

Meeting me would be infinitely more exciting than coffee but equally as unlikely .

Welcome to the site. All the best in finding what you are looking for

Me is Dutch from the fathers side, and Tibetan from the mothers side. I am sensitive, quite shy, and very open to new experiences.
giving myself for 150% is in my nature. The other 25 is mine :-)

Does not matter what you do...should be a mutual decision. If the decision takes too long, the other side would like you probably to take control, and make an educated guess where to go, what this person is interested in, if you can sense this, which comes down to intuition, so you do something that both parties like.

take in a sushi or thai cooking class ... something relaxed, fun, opportunity for laughter, conversation, and 'harmless' touches if the mood strikes

meet at a deli and select items to enjoy at the park

hot air balloon ride

visit the railway museum

an afternoon at the Mendel Art Gallery

a hand bulding clay pottery workshop ... a little messy but the clay worked for Swayze laugh

a visit to an amusement park or kayaking or hiking ... depending upon the time of year

Stargaze at the University Observatory

A jazz or blues club ... or somewhere with a nice acoustic setting ... something quiet enough you can still talk

treasure hunt through a used book store

The possibilities are endless...
