Don't have a story to post!

Huge loss, what an innovator and to all the computer and techy geeks he will be missed.

It's so sad! If you read his biography, the guy was always destined for great things. Apple won't be the same without him.

Maybe now the competition has a chance!

For many, yes, but definitely not to all. Many who love tech have been very unhappy with the effect he and Apple (under his leadership) has on tech in recent years.

I'm not attacking his real contributions, just saying that he is definitely not universally loved.

Most I know have greatly enjoyed the contributions he's made over the years. I'd say more than not loved him. He will be missed.

Only you would turn this into something whiny and political.

People like him are either loved or hated, there is no middle ground.

As far as I know the only thing he gave Obama was pre-released Ipad or Ipad2!

Nope, Obama and Clinton were extremly close to Jobs who donated the max to both people and not to mention Jobs getting to sleep in the Lincoln bedroom at the White House in return for the massive donations.

Hmm I also heard Jobs was one who was one of the big rich guys supposed to have had a meeting at the top of Trade Center who got warned off before the epic fail. Of course that seemed to be rumor I got straight from the mouth of a lady who worked as a tour manager to the stock exchange right across the street as she told me her story of being one of the grey wanderers in the aftermath of 9/11.

Anyway, back to topic, RIP SJ, I wish you would have shared with my aunt how to live past 7 months with pancreatic cancer let alone 7 years..... oh yeah vast wads of cash do the trick everytime.

Seriously. It seems like some would have been happier had he died sooner. How sad.

I thought I detected some disappointment that our loved ones don't get the best possible medical care, because they can't afford it - which is something else altogether.

Are you asking? I'm not particularly motivated to discuss it here, so soon after his death.

It's not just that, but also because of things we aren't told as well to this end.

Here's one of them..............

In 1984, Jobs purchased a 17,000-square-foot (1,600 m2), 14-bedroom Spanish Colonial mansion, designed by George Washington Smith, in Woodside, California (also known as Jackling House). Although it reportedly remained in an almost unfurnished state, Jobs lived in the mansion for almost ten years. According to reports, he kept an old BMW motorcycle in the living room, and let Bill Clinton use it in 1998. From the early 1990s, Jobs lived in a house in the Old Palo Alto neighborhood of Palo Alto. President Clinton dined with Jobs and 14 Silicon Valley CEOs there on August 7, 1996, at a meal catered by Greens Restaurant. Clinton returned the favor and Jobs, who was a Democratic donor, slept in the Lincoln bedroom of the White House.
