he explained what he meant as, they are 2 complete opposites that are not going to see eye to eye so the golf game was a waste of time This. I personally think he was spot on in his assessment. If they can't see eye to eye on important issues, how is it they can suddenly have time for a golf game together as if they're best friends? Doesn't really work. to be fair, you dont have to be best friends to golf together, I have golfed with COMPLETE Strangers,, Im sure there is a middle ground where colleagues in a workplace might golf together too,,, if they are both golfers |

and who in their right mind expects people to give up their hobbies or vacations or anything else whenever others in the country are suffering,,,, I seriously doubt hank williams jr is struggling anywhere NEAR as much as I am right now and I Really dont care if people in better economic circumstances can afford to go GOLF,,, It wasn't the golf game itself, it was the fact that they were doing it together yet supposedly have these big differences. Pay attention, you might actually learn something. well alot of things that are 'supposed' are really just 'assumed' Ive read nowhere that Obama has averse feelings towards Boehner, so perhaps this was a golf game between people who are trying to be professional AND friendly at the same time perhaps they can have big differences AND some similarities as well,, people dont have to be POLAR opposites to have disagreements or to disagree on issues,,, |

Even so, something isn't quite right with the picture. Though then again, when it comes to government, nothing is right with it at all. The entire thing is a mess.

hey, being the poor loser that i am, i'll play golf with anybody i think i can beat. could care less about seeing eye to eye politically, religiously or anything else.
hmmmmmmm. got me thinkin'. one, being able to count the number of times i've played eighteen holes on one hand, i'm a terrible golfer. two, the contrarian that i am, i see very few things eye to eye with anyone. maybe i'll look into those solo freeclimbing lessons and i'll take up scaling virtical granite cliffs like el capitan in yosemite without ropes. prolly safer, ya think? |
