Back in the nineties I made homebrew. Nothing will spoil you like creating beer just to your liking! My favs were a brown ale with double or triple hops and a porter, somewhat like Guinness, but with hints of chocolate and red pepper. Sam Adams makes very good beer but my favorite local is a Shiner Bock.

When I was traveling in Europe, I got to drink a lot of French, Italian, and Spanish wine. The Spanish Rojos were superb!!! ... full bodied, smooth, and full of flavor. I thought they were much better than the French which were good too.

Europe used to export it's crap wine to the US cause we didn't know the difference. Now, an American wine is as likely to win a contest as a European wine.

I go to Sam's Club and Spec's in Houston on occasion to get something I have never tried. Some are winners and some are losers but variety is the spice of life!drinker

Good beer drinking pic!

What do you prefer Foreign or Domestic, win or beer ?

My taste tends to be foreign.
The beers I like Guinness & Heineken but I can deal with a nice COLD!!! MGD.

The wine I like Santa Margherita pinot grigio drinker

the only domestic beer I drink is Killians Irish Red. Otherwise it's Beck's, St Pauli Girl, Molson's - Golden if I can find it.....sometimes Labatt's, Heineken...that's about it

Yes, I have tried Blue Moon.drinker

Pretty good beer IMO.drinker

When I was able to drink, I preferred beer over wine. I used to drink Gennessee and Budweiser.drinker drinks

So I guess that I preferred Domestic over Imports.

I love Michelob but hard to find as they brought out a lager of the same name that is nowhere near as nice.

I'm a (red) wine drinker. Love french reds but only if they are bought in France as well as new world wines (Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Mexico etc). The only white wine I drink are sparkling demi sec's, Cava's or Prosecco's but I'm not much of a drinker bigsmile

The cherry thing Krupa mentioned sounds delicious!

Excellent pic Jack! I mean damn! That girl is fine. (It's a compiment...deal with it sister)

Had Blue Moon last weekend. Do yourself a favor and get a six pack of Hoegaarden white ...it is freakin gooooood.

Well 42B...you don't gotta be a drinker to enjoy the smooth, rich qualities of a good brew or the Vin di Grappa. Your wine list tells me that you prefer qualities over quantity. Michelob puts out a Ultra Cactus and lime beer that is pretty damned good.

Yea Baby....that wild black cherry home brewed beer was amazing! He gave me 4 wine bottles filled with it. That was a great chistmas present!!!

Uhhhhhh no BabyDoll.

That would probably be my fault. I never use peoples full screen name and I just shorten them to something easy for me to click in my mind. To me, you are Jack....it's actualy kinda smexi as I think about it.

Anyway, sorry Jack....your srewed honey. You seem pretty cool and don't seem like a dumb@$$...life just ain't fair. To me, You are embedded in my head as Jack.
