Im not sure, if this is testimony, but I want to share it.

I had a life changing experience in church today. I was praising the Lord, and all of the sudden I started to cry. I knelt down, and it was as if Jesus was speaking to my heart. He told me he wants a more serious relationship with me, as much as I want, a more serious relationship, with him.

So without anyone suggesting this, at church today, or anywhere else, or this being preached to me at all, I have decided that from this day forward, my Sunday mornings will be devoted to church(as before),but my Sunday afternoons will be devoted to Bible Study, and my Sunday evenings will be devoted to reading the Bible, prayer, and praise.

I think he puts this on my heart, because he is feeling second to the other things I do with my time, and only devote Sunday mornings to him, and alitttle prayer, at home. I need to make Jesus my FIRST priority, before the internet, or anything else.

God has changed my life again! But im really excited that we both agree that we want a stronger relationship, and I am taking steps as of today, to make that happen!

Praise the Lord, I read much of the bible yesterday, prayed, and bought a beautiful new poster, for my room, with John 3:16 on it.

I think other Minglers dont agree with my decision, by a few of the comments on my threads, but im here 6 days a week, is that not enough, that I cant give my Sundays to God?

I should be giving him all of my everydays, but im taking baby steps.

Its hard to give up your stuff, for God, but at least im starting now.

I told you, that you were all gonna start thinkin, I make this stuff up, because it happens so often.

Today I came to Mingle, went to my "Neighborhood Bar" thread, and my image of Jade Sasha,(she Luv2roknrolls sister, and the bartender at the bar) was gone. All I could see, where she should have been, was a small white hollow box, but everyone else could see her fine!

Wierd!

So I went to the computer section here, screaming for help. I CANT LOSE JADE SASHA!! haha. Sofie began to try to find the problem, and I started to pray. I asked God to please bring back Jade Sasha, I love her, and need her in my thread!

As God, and everyone involved be my judge, she suddenly popped up on my computer screen.

If you go to the "Neighborhood Bar" thread, you will see where I kept trying to post her, and was freaking out, because she was gone.

(and no, I didnt simulate this in some way, this REALLY DID HAPPEN, as does all my testimony). I dont lie!

I should of known better! Just ask Jesus, and it will be done!

I have HUGE goosebumps all over me! hahhaha.

It's kind of hard to describe what I mean, but as you progress in your Christian walk, the giving up will not be so hard and as your mind becomes more like his, the unimportant things fall away and the things that you want are more in tune to his path for you, so you don't feel like you're giving anything up, but gaining so much more. Does that make sense?

Baby steps is a wise choice to begin with. You don't want to lose yourself and get burned out. I like the passage from "Eat Pray Love": "Too much G-d, not good balance. Too much self, not good balance. Better to keep feet on the ground. So(pray) in the morning, enjoy the day (where you are), study (learn) in the afternoon and meditate in the evening, smiling with your mouth, your heart and your liver." (my paraphrase.) Great advice!

Keep at it, Sister. You are an inspiration, even to this old Christian horse who sometimes feels like she's plodding along. G-d bless you!

I found a wonderful program on the internet, where the bible is read to me, as I follow along in it. I get more reading done that way, and I also get to hear the proper pronunciations, of the names of people, and places, and some words, which is great!

And I still have my thread, "reading and understanding the bible", for any of my questions, about events happening.

I am really enjoying the reading now!

After a while it is like you can have confidence in God. I think that is when you know that you can overcome any obstacle that is in your way. It is like your faith can grow the more your higher power proves itself to you. People can let us down but for me God never fails.

Do you know that I have not prayed not ONE prayer, that has not been answered.

And that is the total truth!

And 99% of my prayers are for other people,

so that is glorious!
