Topic: A Woman

This isn't a poem, but I thought it was beautiful. This is written in the Hebrew Talmud, the book where all of the sayings and preaching of Rabbis are conserved over time. It says: "Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib. Not from his feet to be walked on. Not from his head to be superior, but from the side to be equal. Under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved."

That's always been the way I felt, just never been eloquent enough to put it into words that are right to the point.

ty katz...and everyone please, copy that and send to every lady you know and let them know just how special they are. You are all special and beautiful in your own way. Maybe send it to some men too who don't quite get it lol

I did copy it and send it along, I had it written down already my sister in law read it to me yesteday, she got i from her father to pass on to me. Stange how the universe works isn't it?

You are right my man. Women are our equals. That's the way I look at it anyway. I like women who are smart, can carry on a good conversation, and will be by my side no matter what. You put into words my philosophy towards women. Thanks for passing that along.
