At my age I know what I want and when I want it. If it just so happens to be the first meet or the second why not. I may not be here tomorrow or might not want it tomorrow.. We only have to answer to ourselves...... And if the other person can not deal with that then I don't want them to hang around anyway...  Have to agree with this answer!!    I also think maturity - as in a person;s age - is a factor...at my age I am not looking to marry & raise a family....I don;t worry about what a man "thinks of me" or if he even thinks at all really  my opinion is the only one that matters to me these days, so when I choose to be intimate it is with a different set of goals & criteria and a lot less worry about who will or will not approve |

what youre saying makes sense, sweetestgirl... i'm at the age where i want someone... i dont want meaningless sex, that has never been my style... i still have the naive idea that i'll find "the one" and i wouldn't want to mess up the chances by just becoming a lay in someones mind...

I agree firesflygirl, the attraction has to be there for it to be morethan freinds anyway - whether we have sex in the first week, first month, or not for several months....that chemistry has to be there and I have found that chemistry can change depending on how the friendship flows....another reason to wait a little while - dont wanna hafta do the "WAHT WAS I THINKING  but I do prefer a commitment and I need some kind of history with the gent also - either online or IRL |

what youre saying makes sense, sweetestgirl... i'm at the age where i want someone... i dont want meaningless sex, that has never been my style... i still have the naive idea that i'll find "the one" and i wouldn't want to mess up the chances by just becoming a lay in someones mind... right, I would not want to be thought of that way either...I guess I was taking that as a given, and there does have to be some kind of friendship first....but as far as the timing or the type of commitment....those things will be things we would decide together so I can't get all whack about criteria NOW I still have the same idea about finding the "one' silently.... I thought I had...I hope at my age, I still can.

My thoughts have always been,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, what HER thoughts were........ and IF that took us there,,,it would be cool,,for we would have had to of touched on how we felt before that,,,so we would know what the other had in mind,,,as to us going there.. I do SO dislike the ones who ONLY make the first date a NO,,because of THEM THINKING,,,,it would cheapen them,,,in my mind NOT BECAUSE "THEY"REALLY FELT IT A WRONG FOR ANY OTHER REASONS. Hey,,,I am who I am,,,the same as their who they are.. We are BOTH to old to be Nineveh about the act,,,,but I do also understand the feelings,,,so I NEVER go there,,,,unless they lead. FOR ME IT WOULD TRULY DEPEND ON HOW STRONG OF A CONNECTION WE HAVE. ITS A STRONG ONE I MAY PUT OUT. YOU NEVER KNOW WHERE THINGS MAY GO AFTER THAT. SO TO ANSWER THE QUESTION YES I WOULD.
