I agree with you totally. The problem is that there are some people who are always going out of their way looking for something to be offended about. Trust me, they're everywhere!
Although I really don't see that as my problem anymore....although, to be honest, I do still get a fair number of them complaining to me about it. Can't make everybody happy, nope.... |

Right as usual, Lex. Some people are just unclear on the concept, I suppose.....by the way, Carl said he wants the gym sock back...it's a source of security to him, ya know?

Right now, it's on the Orange County Lumber Truck. He'll just have to wait! Hey Lex, is this a triple negative? I just don't understand why it's not used more often. lol #1= 'don't' #2= 'not' #3= lack of understanding If you remove the first 2, you get: 'I just understand why it's used more often. lol' Which is the opposite of the intention of the sentence, meaning it has to be flipped, as a third negative. This is my logic alone hahaha |

This is my logic alone hahaha I just go with "odd = actual negative" and "even = reversed negative." I don't know if this is right or not, but it's easier than trying to figure out the real solution! When I was studying Russian in high school, the teacher made the point that, in Russian, you can pile on as many negatives as you want in a sentence, and it's still always a negative. There was a sentence that translated out to something like "I never not no read nothing," and that was perfectly acceptable. Sounds to me like the Russians may be from Kentucky. |

I am going to have to go with the Russians
on this. Think of the paperwork, the books, the teachers, the time saved, just by removing some fine print. I think that is the way the brain hears it slso. Easier to spot in the written word. |

Good sarcasm isn't something you have to think about -- it just flows out, like blood spurting from a horrible puncture.

Sarcasm is a must for me in close relationships with friends, including flirting. Sarcasm is sexy.

Hi :D Yeah i completely understand what you're saying here. We need more of it. lol. I use it to add fun. Yet, i may cross a line at times that i don't mean to cross. Someone may misunderstand it for being an insult instead? So i try not to offend anyone. Like you, i just like to have light-hearted chit chat. At least it means we're happy i guess.
