As for what eljay said; I simply thought he spoke it well. I thought those were his words, and I understood it, I thought.

Bl8ant: You come in my threads anytime you feel like it. I have always enjoyed your posts, whether we agree or not. You make me think. I like that. And, I think you are great. Please come back anytime.

To tell you the truth; I wrote this to get exactly what I got. All kinds of input. I am as always, a student. To believe or not to believe: That is the difference. I love all the diversity, and the deversive people.flowerforyou

May I say this: I have had problems with this hell and heaven thing. I seem to be able to come to grips with hell than with a heaven. Wonder why that is? Real question.

Anyone??

Alex; if you would, I would love to hear your thoughts on my first paragraph. I don't think it is really biblical (sorta) but, I am referring to the other stuff. Our hell here? What could be called heaven here? Rather than somewhere else.

Please: anyone...I want no crap or animosity here. I welcome all rebuttles and differences. Kindly. Christians and spiritualist and people of light and of earthly knowledge are all people of good and wonderful hearts.

I have come to grips with hell because I have learn how to adapt. When I look back on my life hell explains it better than heaven. Hell seems more real and heaven seems elusive.

Okay...but is heaven here? I mean; there are many that seem to have it made here. Happiness, health, wealth, family, good jobs, a happy home. While more than the lucky ones; we have so many struggling and miserable and sad people here. You see?

Does this heaven or hell really have to be so far fetched? Somewhere else?

Could it be that we are in someone elses hell? Or in someone elses heaven?

Heaven is one of CCP's post's when she shares what she sees and feels through the eyes of her child-like self. Its pure and its straight from the heart. Heaven is when you look at your grandson and feel that absolute and total rush of love. Heaven is when you look in your child(s) eyes, no matter how old they are, and still see the love sparkling back at you.

Nope Kat, I'm most definitely not being sarcastic. That is as close as a definition I can get with words.

Wench; I hope I never said you were being sarcastic?

I like your analagy. My love for my kids and grandbaby is as close as I can come to imagining any kind of heaven.

Heaven can be a state of mind. To be able to look at the glass half full rather than half empty. To be able to look at things from a positive point of view as counting one's blessings versus looking at things with a negative outlook and seeing only the bad. Dreamers are believers. To be able to dare to believe the impossible rather than to accept the notion that the impossible can not exist.

ok ! sorry (not) lol

Kat...like enlightenment maybe we get glimpses of what we want to think heaven feels like...

but honestly i don't believe in either.

do you think for a moment that life is so bored with herself that she will linger in some human made concept called heaven or hell?

Hell and Heaven are feeble attempts to Frighten
or Tempt respectively - that is to coerce a behavior.
This coercion in and of itself is blasphemous.

Known not to work, these concepts are essentially
as useless as they are hypothetical. One must find
motivation for good through knowledge, education and
understanding of the consequences of actions. This
process leads not to Heaven of Hell however, but to
wisdom and God or the Void.

Tag, You're IT.

Now Choose.
