OK,,,lets see,,what should I say here,,
WAKE UP AMERICA""""""""""""PICTURES CAN LIE JUST LIKE PROFILES DO,,AND JUST LIKE WORDS OF PEOPLE CAN! I have met MORE fake past pic's of people here than I have met real current pic's here,,,so what? I have seen pic's showing as them,,,when IT WAS SOMEONE ELSE'S PIC. I have seen current pic's SAID,,when they were over ten years back,, IF,,,and THIS IS A FACT ON THIS SITE... IF,,a person runs a pic of them as a cartoon,,,THEY WILL GET AS MANY REPLIES AS ONE RUNNING A REAL PIC OF THEM SELF! So in THAT,,I'd say we all have a paranoid disillusion of a person who SHOWS NOTHING as to what they look like? I'd go on to say WE as Humans feel that because they show us nothing,,we think THEM THAT SAME? BUT EVEN A PIC OF MICKEY MOUSE AS TO WHO THEY ARE,,,THATS COOL WITH US AS IT CONNECTS US WITH A PERSON AND AN IMAGE FOR OUR PARANOIA TO BE IN CHECK....? Just saying,,,,,,, |

If a person is honestly looking to meet someone ... eventually in person, they will probably post a picture of themselves.
It doesn't bother me in the least if a person does not post a picture of them self. I just take it that they are here for friendship and conversation and not so much looking to hook up with someone or collect a lot of dating prospects. It doesn't matter what a person looks like, if you don't have some things in common with them, or like them, it will not happen anyway. |

i think its like buying a lottery ticket...you know you might never win,but its nice to dream.
we all like to have someone who is pleasing to look at,makes holding a conversation with the person easier.plus,we are visual creatures even though it may not be the most important thing you look for,but it is the first thing you see on a dating site. Now i know that some people like to put up fake profile pictures,or they are taken from strange angles.as not to show the things that they find might be very un-appealing.But life is a risk and one would hope and trust that people can be honest and not post a picture of themselves that was taken twenty years ago, knowing that they now look like they have been rode hard and put away wet. |

I don't care about pictures, when you've seen one, you've seen them all. How so? Everyone looks pretty different. Though, that's how I feel about descriptions people give online when they don't want to share pictures. They all sound pretty similar. Biscuit-man can't switch profiles that fast. That's right, I barely have the ability to do anything Let's see now ^_^ vvvv (-_-) --l-- _/\_ There we go, That is a picture that I call, "The human being" |

I think in general; people are very visual so they want to see who they are talking to. Me; I post several pictures of me to show that I have different intrerests. I also think it weeds out people. For example; a picture of me working out would not appeal to a couch potatoe, or my military picture would weed out someone who is anti-military. Your working out picture inspires me to go work out. Ha Ha, glad I can finally be a good influence on someone. |

I have also found in the past that some people don't put pictures on for very personal reasons; ie; they are a police officer; or even a friend of mine said she wouldn't post her picture on a dating site because she is a school teacher. Some people are very private and although they may not post their picture on a profile; if there is an interest; they will send it to you privately. |

I don't think being visual is gender related. Many women go for looks above anything, just as men do. Yes Indeed :) |
