hello my name is curtis and i am 20 years old..... i have been on this site for about 3 weeks or so and i have not found anyone who wants to talk to me... can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong and what i need to do just to find a girl to talk to.... im askin you ladies because i think i need advice from the gender im trying to find not another male ...... just let me know anyone..... please..... thanks......

First it goes both ways . If your not putting ANY effort in to talk to people there probably not gonna talk to you either. Also posting here in the forums helps ALOT . My page views have doubled and im getting messages finally after I started posting more .

i agree with brandy, it is a 2 was street with that. I have found personally that posting things helps to get to know people. I haven't been on for very long myself hon, and I have wound up talking to more people in the last week than I have previously because I have posted things. just hang in there hon, and it will take a little bit of time. All good things come to those who wait.

Well, I'm a guy, but from my experiences these many many months, it really boils down to one thing -- you need to have a presence in the forums. That's how people here get to know you, and see you, and understand your thoughts and feelings and what's important to you and what you're looking for.

Being on the forums allows you to expose yourself (no, not like that!) to thousands of people. As good as your profile may be, nobody's going to see it unless it shows up in a search, or they are looking for you specifically.

I always tell people that if you're not here on the forums, you might as well be hiding in a dark closet, because that's about how much chance you have of getting noticed. Putting yourself out here, in a very public way, isn't always easy, but it's worth it. And the forums are one reason JSH is better than all the other sites I've tried!
