She Is Not Silly At All
How many do we really know that will look you straight to the heart of what matters? Will tell you the way it is, their reality awaiting sooner than even they want to face. Though I have held finality in my arms I was not prepared to say, good bye. My Hannah knew. She told him it was time. But deep, deep inside of me, even now, I convince myself, he had left quite some time before. Perhaps it was when his pain kept him out away from us more times than I dare share. Needless to say, I was not in the room with him. I held on to the sweet incense of hopes eternal thought. Maybe I buried it for a time desiring to stay away from such needless energy exhumed with the "why". Today, I know someone is trying to hold on to each fleeting breath. She will not discuss the world politics, is not excited by the latest recipe, who will become the newest idol, having joyed in the "firsts", she is grasping the final. she understands will be left when she has to leave her son.
